Round 1 - Definitely a feeling out process for both guys. Neither seemingly landed anything too significant this round but I’ll still say Usyk nicked it due to landing a good left hand towards the end of the round which I think outdid all of Joshua’s shots that didn’t seem to land clean.

Round 2 - I’m surprised how many people are giving Usyk this round tbh. Joshua landed some pretty good body shots and I’d say was busier for a lot of the round. I personally felt this was a definite win for Joshua.

Round 3 - Fairly slow start to the round but Usyk was able to slightly hurt Joshua towards the end with a great left hand. Usyk was also consistently landing the better shots throughout this round which made it a definite win for him imo.

Round 4 - I could maybe see how someone could give this one to AJ as he did land some of his best shots of the fight up until this point in this round. However, I still think Usyk had the more eye-catching shots hence giving him the round.

Round 5 - This is another one I think you could give to AJ but I still thought it was an Usyk round. A lot AJ’s shots didn’t seem to be landing clean (in fairness it was kind of hard to see at times due to the camera angle)

Round 6 - This was a close round that I think could go either way. That said, I gave to AJ as he landed probably his best shots of the fight towards the end of the round.

Round 7 - Very convincing win for Usyk. Outboxed Joshua all round pretty much.

Round 8 - I thought it was a pretty close round but I still think it was a fairly confident win for AJ. He was busier for the first half and landed some good body shots in the second half. You can tell Usyk tried to win the round back in the second half but just fell short in my opinion.

Round 9 - Neither guys landed anything too significant this round. Joshua did land a few body shots at the end but I’d still say Usyk won due to being busier for a large majority of it and landing some good shots of his own at the end of the round. I think both guys used this round as a bit of a breather.

Round 10 - This round is a perfect example of why Usyk is such an elite fighter. He was winning the early part of the round but then Joshua started landing some decent shots towards the middle. He sensed he might’ve been losing the round so upped the aggression which I think was enough to steal it. It was still a fairly close round though.

Round 11 - Both landed good shots this round, although it’s obvious Usyk landed more. Another close but decisive win for Usyk.

Round 12 - Great finish by Usyk. You can tell he was trying to go for a knockout despite definitely not needing one (maybe he was afraid of being robbed?)

Honestly, I think this was one of Usyk’s greatest performances. There were a lot of close rounds but I feel he intentionally always tried to just edge AJ in the rounds to win them whilst not using too much stamina. Not to mention that no one has outboxed AJ with this amount of ease (no one really outboxed him at all.) Joshua has been getting a lot of hate since this defeat but he’s still a top 5 heavyweight in my opinion.

I feel like Usyk’s performance in the rematch wasn’t as good as it seemed he didn’t do enough in more of the rounds and I think AJ made it very competitive considering he’s no where near as good of a technical boxer as Usyk is.

However, if the Usyk we got in this fight performs as well in his fight with Fury, I honestly think he has a chance to beat him.
