Fight Notes: 

Azumah Nelson takes on Jeff Fenech for the WBC 130 lb world title. Nelson starts well, but as the fight goes on, he seems like he is struggling physically to deal with the swarming attack of Fenech, and some of the later rounds are very tough, especially the last round. The fight ends in a split draw, and Nelson claims after the fight, that he had recently finished recovering from malaria, which was quite an excuse.

For me (and it seems it is the case for almost all scorecards here) the draw was a controversial decision. I didn't know it was possible, but it seems the belt have been awarded to Fenech more than 30 years after the fight.
