Re: Conor Benn vs Chris Van Heerden
Prediction.
Van Heerden is big at 147, but aI don't think he's stronger than Benn, Benn hasn't fought a southpaw in 6 years as a professional, which could be an issue, but Van Heerden is coming off 16 months out, has had 4 fights in the last 5 years, and he's highly to cut in this fight, he has been cut in his last 3 fights, and in his last fight, it was a terrible cut.
I think Van Heerden will try to step back and time the left hand as Benn comes in, but his timing will be off, he will make Benn fall short, and Benn will struggle offensively with the stance, but Heerden won't be prepared for the angles he comes in at or his punch variety, and he will be on the defensive. I think Benn will break Va Heerden down very quickly once he's started cutting off the ring and attacking the body.
I think Benn stops Van Heerden in 5 or 6 rounds.

Re: Conor Benn vs Chris Van Heerden
This was good matchmaking for Benn, he needed to fight a southpaw before stepping up, or a southpaw opponent would have been a disaster, and it would have cost him a fight, Van Heerden was very low risk.
