Holidays good and the same to you mate. I like your approach, a lot less room for disappointment in your list. The couple of billion dollars it would take to run the 175 WBSS on my list might be a bit of a stretch :-)
1 thing I will add, I feel a little bit of injustice on John Ryder;s behalf over the Morrell situation. I think they should get that fight on before Morrel is allowed to move on with his career; not sure if you agree?
lol yes and money would be even less of a problem than boxing politics and sides of the street way I see it why be an optimistic or pessimistic boxing fan when you can be a realistic one
injustice for what? Ryder decided to turn down thE Morrell task I don't feel that would set Morrell career too far back but that scalp would definitely have been a boost
anyways Daniel Jacobs vs John Ryder was in the works for early next year in the UK but talks are that cvid related travel restrictions could derail plans let's hope not
On Ryder Morrell, injustice because they let a 2 and 0 guy fight for an interim when Ryder was ranked above him, then elevated him to super without having to fight Ryder, then they mandated it 3 times and let Morrell fight voluntaries 3 times. Ryder wouldn't have turned it down because he sees himself as a strong favourite in the fight but I am very interested as to where you heard that. Last I heard was around August, they had about 10 days left to agree a deal before it went to purse bids and then it all faded into obscurity. Seems like they couldn't agree a deal and Hearn refused to pay for the fight or both promotors agreed not to pursue it; I'm just guessing, all very strange but I do see Ryder as the victim in the situation.
Agree Jacobs fight would be a good one for both guys.
Yes WBA moved Morrell up the rankings but they also mandated the Ryder fight twice and Ryder ended up turning the opportunity down not once but twice once for June 26th earlier this year and the other Dec 18th can't say I blame anyone in Team Morrell for that and certainly far from any sort of injustice lol
my guy reassures me that Jacobs vs Ryder could still be on for Feb 12th next year time will tell
Where did you hear he turned it down? Only asking because I don't think that's right. See below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dME07Z8ZydQ
As you say, it might work out for the best anyway
Ortiz Martin winner vs. Ruiz is your HW dream fight for 2022? Man a lot better fights than that can and likely will be made at HW in 2022 lol
Happy holidays hope you're having a good one, I'll give this a go

105 - Niyomtrong vs Pradabsiri/Moonsri winner
All good and the same to you Felipe. I hadn't heard about Russell Magsayo, interesting to see what he's got left. I think if he's half the guy he was, he should make light work of Magsayo; you?
Yea mate it's been announced for January 22 with Matias vs Ananyan 2 as the co-main. As far as Magsayo's chances I give him a puncher's chance. Russell's speed and reflexes may be Magsayo's undoing and I could see him getting outboxed for 12 rounds, but I'm not convinced Russell's motivation is there which could lead to an early upset for Magsayo in 2022. I give Russell a higher chance but coming off a 2 year layoff against a big puncher and opponent like Magsayo is dangerous, and I wouldn't be shocked if he pulled off the upset.
Seems like a more than fair assessment to me, although I've never been too sure of Russell's motivation. The guy seems to have been running on pure talent his whole career.

Happy holidays fella.
hey man! how you been? that's Junto Nakatani for ya lol! Same man Christmas Cheers!
All good mate, glad to see you back. Hope you and the family are well?
Nakatani; Mr DuringValley himself. I've let myself down there.
Same. Yeah, I took some time off went to Russia for 3 weeks, went dune buggying out in the Nevada desert (a bucket list item of mine), then had to go do an emergency trip to look out after my folks over in the Caralackies were they live they contracted whatever Greek lettered variant we're up to now but they both recovered well. but anyways, hope you and the family is doing well. Happy New Year!
Excuse my ignorance because I've never heard of the Caralackies but glad to hear your parents are recovered.
I thought I was doing alright until I heard your adventures but everybody healthy and that's the main thing. Russia, any sort of motor sport in the Nevada desert and fishing in any iconic spot are all bucket list and I've genuinely been considering moving to Canada these last few years so need to get out on a reccy once the Greek alphabet furore dies down.
Happy New Year to you too.
Really well-thought out and I note there's no Crawford-Spence or Ryan Garcia - Tank because they are just unrealistic, I suppose. Really like the Plant-Saunders fight and the WBSS at 175 is an inspired idea. Let's hope they're listening. Sleeper fight in these could be Andrade-Jermall as Andrade is starting to get more offense-minded and looks hungry, but of course Jermall is a beast. And what about Jermell-Castano, that could be a great rematch? And can we slip in Ryan Garcia-Devon Haney at 135? And if they're both frauds, who exposes who?
Thanks for saying so but the truth is I was just being entirely selfish with no second thought for money or politics. The 100 dollar fight card is an enigma to the British fan but I'd certainly pay that and more for the 175 tournament I mentioned. As for 135, I excluded Garcia because I'm unsure about how he's going to come back from the mental health troubles and I excluded Haney because even though I have no doubt he's the real deal, I think making 135 is detracting from his performances quite a bit, not sure if he should just give up the ghost and move to 140. Same thing with Spence. 100% the real deal but I don't see the jeopardy in a Spence Crawford fight at 147; Crawford wipes the floor with him but Spence could become undisputed at 154 and 160 in 2 years if he wanted to. Jermell Castano rematch should be on there, you're right but I had to shoe-horn one of them out to push Spence to 154. You should do a list, just a bit of fun.
looks like i was right after all Crawford fighting Ava December 2022 and the fight won't happen until 2023 at the very least been said back when Lopez beat Loma that Haney and Teo wouldnt fight until they both at 140 way down the line and that's looking true too said Ennis vs Ortiz won't happen at 147 and until 24-2025 if it ever does i was wrong on Colbert going to be Stevensons toughest test at 130 and looks like Davis Garcia may be going down before Davis Michel Rivera after all kudos to everyone involved if and when it do happen
Matias Ponce shoulda happened by now had Taylor vacated earlier and w Matias having Visa issues it could be postponed further
