great way to start of the new year scks Thurman pulled out...been waiting on man's ring return

Any thoughts on it being ppv?

good card..which fight you like most & least from the card

I'd say the headliner for me but I admit to knowing nothing about Carlos Negron or either of vykhryst & kiladze. I think Demirezen should make light work of Washington and I don't see what Coffie can do any different in the Rice rematch but admit to it be intriguing. What's the inside track?

word on the streets is Ruiz turned down an offer from team Ortiz hence this headliner as he wasnt ready to return on date recovering from knee injury and that Ruiz may be interested in cashing in on Helenius new found fame...what you think of that one if that does indeed happen next

Have to say, I think Martin Ortiz is a good fight was just questioning the money. Is it true that if you have guests round to watch the boxing, the ppv is normally split between the attendees?
Ruiz Helenius should be a good one. I've still yet to see Ruiz Arreola and from what I hear Ruiz didn't look great but that aside, I think the Ruiz of old should stop Helenius. Not taking away from Helenius' last performance which was great but I think Ruiz is a level or 2 above Kownacki. And you?

Great? Can't agree man, this is trash, especially as PPV. Not a good sign for the future of FOX in boxing

@Gold fair man shaping up to be a great New Years weekend of boxing imho tho with a good card here not the greatest fasho....personally tho i cant remember another New Years weekend that i got to enjoy..where it wasnt just boxing from Japan/Asia with lower weights mostly....few competitive matchups up on here and a couple with potentiality to be explosive and would love the winner of the headliner here face the likes of DIllian Whyte and in cross the street fights later on
as with "PPVs" i totally respect your position i been consistent in saying i cant tell others if a card would be worth it or not and i've never get in the way of fans & paying customers venting their frustrations about a given product (but at the same time i dont feel it tarnishes a fighters legacy to have easier touches in between elite level opponents)
how do you feel this card in particular is a bad sign for the future?....hey if i had a dollar for every time i heard that about boxing on Fox in the last half decade or so

Should be good otherwise, as you said Japan is going to have some great fights. Not exactly NYE but Golovkin vs. Murata should be fun stylistically. There's no way Ortiz vs. Martin can be a $40 PPV, but it being PPV makes it seem like Fox won't put up the money and PBC will take the risk on it. I don't know what the break-even would be but there's no way it will sell over 100k, Ortiz and Martin do not move the needle at all.
