Re: Shakur Stevenson vs Duarn Vue
Wow, now this is a step up fight for Stevenson, I wonder if Vue is to far too soon. Because albeit older at 32 Vue is a very good prospect himself, and hit's a lot harder than his KO record indicates. This will be Stevenson's first real tough test that I'm not sure he's ready to pass.

Re: Shakur Stevenson vs Viorel Simion
Prediction,
Big step up for Stevenson. With respect to Duarn Vue, I think Simion is more of a challenge.
I think Simion is much better than any of Stevenson's other 8 opponents, he has been in against Lee Selby and Scott Quigg, two world champions, those are his two losses, but he didn't get stopped either time, held his own against Quigg, and both Quigg and Selby are former world champions, so that shows the level he has been at. Simion doesn't have any good wins at world level, but still internationally, he has won. Simion is not a puncher, but he has a great chin, has output, has had 23 professional fights, not that many, but enough, and he wasn't a bad amateur, was in the 2004 Olympics, made the quarterfinals. Simion doesn't have a lot of miles, but he is 36, very old for a featherweight, and he is coming off 18 months out, since his last fight was on the undercard of Joshua vs Klitschko, so for Stevenson, that makes the fight less of a challenge, but it is still a big step up.
Stevenson is 8-0, he's only 21, he has a lot to learn, but he seems like a talented fighter, he was a good amateur, I think he is better than Simion, has the potential to be a good fighter, but he is still untested, and at this early stage of his career, this is a tough test.
I think Stevenson will start well, take the early lead, he's awkward, he's fast, and Simon will be rusty, but as the rounds go by, Stevenson will have problems, Simion will be relentless, and whenever Stevenson commits offensively, he will have to keep using his feet, and if he stands and trades with Simion, that's a close fight. If this goes past 8 rounds, then rounds 9 and 10 are likely to benefit Simion on the basis that he has been in round 10, 8 times, and round 9 is unfamiliar territory for Stevenson, but at the same time, the younger fighter might well benefit simply because of the age aspect, but I still think the experienced, adapted long distance fighter will rally, especially seeing as it is a 10 round fight, and Simion has been 12 rounds, several times.
I think Stevenson wins a UD, 96-94, maybe 97-93, I would be surprised if it was any wider than that, and if it is, it will be either impressive from Stevenson, or disappointing from Simion.

I think you can score that single, very one sided round, because the bell went befire the referee stopped it, not that it really matters, still went only one round.

Yeah, I was just basing it off of how Boxrec scored it, which was 1st round TKO

That was terrible from Simion!, but what a statement from Stevenson, great performance.

Vue wouldn't have went out like that.
