Ring Kings: Saul Alvarez vs. Shane Mosley
Fight Notes: The co-feature to Mayweather-Cotto had Canelo defending his WBC 154 lb. strap against the battle-worn Shane Mosley, who was coming off perhaps the most uninspiring performance of his career, against Manny Pacquiao in May of 2011. Unlike in the Pacquiao fight, Mosley left everything he had in the ring, but was still dominated over twelve rounds by the young Mexican star. Afterwards, Mosley announced his retirement from the sport. |

Re: Saul Alvarez vs. Shane Mosley
A fight where one fighter's career is drawing to an end, and the other's is just beginning.

Re: Saul Alvarez vs. Shane Mosley
It was a very entertaining fight, although I was wrong. Cotto really brought it, he came to win, which at least made the main event the most exciting fight on the card.

Re: Saul Alvarez vs. Shane Mosley
Interesting fight, Alvarez fought a very smart fight and boxed extremely well as he out classed Mosley, he took round 1 off and I thought he was just out worked in that very close, debatable eighth round. Alvarez is a great counter puncher and it showed in his fight, as did that great timing.
