Comments

rorschach's picture

Ali does what should've been impossible as faded as he was, but still legitimately becomes the first 3 time HW champion of the world.

rorschach's picture

That was the best shape Ali had been in in a very long time.

Matchroom's picture

Best shape Ali's been in for years, he turned back the clock on this night.

Matchroom's picture

Ali did make history here, but he should have retired at least 3-4 years before hand.

Champion97's picture

I think 2. I think Ali shluld have retired when he beat Norton in 1976. I think you can make an argument he should have retired as early as 1974, you could probably make an argument he should retired after this fight, and just never come back in 1980, but there is no question, that Ali should not have come back after this fight, because against Holmes, he was absolutely shot.
