That was really unlucky and unfortunate way to end the fight. Both guys were doing well in spots, I was curious to see how well Donaire would do down the distance. Donaire looked way better than I thought he would at Bantamweight, I guess he wasn't kidding when he said he was really a natural Bantamweight the whole time. He's a lot slower and less dynamic than he once was but he still has a ton of power, when he landed clean on Burnett it didn't look pleasant. Donaire vs. Tete should be interesting, I think Tete is overrated and Donaire can definitely punch. It appeared that Burnett pulled a muscle the way he grabbed his side, but I heard he may have a slipped disc, if he did we may never see him again. Back injuries are really serious, even when people get back to a decent level of mobility they never get back to 100%. I never was that high on Burnett, but I gave him a chance versus Tete if he got past Donaire. If that is the end to his career it is very unfortunate, hopefully, Eddie will hook him up and give him a shot at commentary or analysis. He can't be worse than Johnny Nelson anyways.
