Comment not appropriate anymore.

You are so freaking salty champ97. Yes, ok, I was upset about the decision so I gave Kov 1 more round that he didn't have a few weeks ago. OK? It isn't any different then a few idiots who thought Andre actually won especially the very few out there that thought he won 8 rounds. 7 rounds was enough of a stretch.

so stop repeating what I say about other fights. Tell me how I am wrong in my analysis of Mayweather Pac round 7 while your at it then. If you cant then don't say a word....

I am talking about the fights themselves a persons opinions on a sporting event have no impact on them as an individual. I respect everyone here :)

Why did I get involved in this? Was it any of my business? No, but is somebody else's scorecard any of your business?, is os your place to tell them they are wrong? No, why do we do it eh vocko, we have lot in common, more than I think you'd care to admit.

Well to be fair to me, I'm doing nothing to you which you haven't done to somebody else, then again, in your defence, was I doing what was right?, no, I was being silly, I'm a wind up merchant, but so are you. Ok, I'm an honest young man, were you rude? A little, were you right? Yes, there wasn't a lot in the round to be fair to those who were rooting for Pacquiao, but a decisive round is a decisive round, if I remember rightly, Floyd frustrated Pacquiao by claiming centre ring, he didn't throw many punches, but tyat was intelligent, I think he was planning a big finish to the round, and in the end, Floyd controlled the tempo, chose who the round panned out, out landed Pacquiao, and landed the better punches, round 7 was a decisive Floyd Mayweather round, you're right. Sorry vock, that was many words.

Jack vs Degale and Thurman vs Garcia, which are you looking forward to more?

I think it's perfectly ok to tell another person on this internet site that I disagree with how they scored a certain round.........

..........that's kind of the whole point of this site lmao

Champion97's picture

Buddy, don't take it too seriously, I know, I just thought I would leave a cheeky comment, just for old times sake, just a joke, just chuckle, and forget it.

That's not the point of Eye on the ring but very well, be youself.

I don't know about that, but your well within your rights to comment, as long as you don't offend anybody, and you haven't so that's all fine.

ok fair enough first time Ive got on in a while.

let's drop the for old times sake though my champ. Unless, god forbid, I'd actually post something offensive or uncalled for, don't post any cheeky come backers anymore....i'd appreciate it.... I'm from a fighting family sort of not easily fooked with

what do you think mcgregor mayweather lmao?

Champion97's picture

No worries.

Ok. Like I say, it was a joke, but I'm not one to take a joke too far. I have no idea how to fook with somebody, but if that was some kind of intimidation tactic, it hasn't worked, and even if I was the kind of person who gets scared by that kind of threat, this is the internet, whatcha gonna do?

I think it's ridiculous, Mcgregor has his sport, he's great at what he does, and that's great for him, I know nothing about UFC, but it does not take a brain surgeon to work out that it is a very tough sport. Mayweather is a boxing legend, and the best that has ever lived in my opinion, do you agree with that?, but even if Floyd was in his prime, Mayweather vs Mcgregor in boxing, Mayweather destroys him, UFC, Mcgregor destroys him, simple, people have suggested they mix the two sports, is that possible, I highly doubt it, what do you think?

I have to say thurman garcia because simply the welterweight division captivates me more then super middleweight ever has.

Champion97's picture

I just preferr Jack vs Degale actually, they are both great fights which the boxing public should appreciate, but I just love the difference in their styles, and althoigh this isn't directly related to what goes on in the ring, I love the sportsmanship, take a look at this,

Isn't that great to see?!

Who you picking to win? I'm going with Thurman, and 99% of those out there are too, but Garcia, he just seems to rise to the occsion, and Mikey Garcia and Jessie Vargas are tipping him to win, I say Thurman via points though.

From what i've seen, Jessie Vargas isn't a good analyst, better at fighting lol..... Mikeymay have a bias but I can't say for sure. It's hard for me to see Danny winning when you consider how he fought almost life and death with Guerrero and other middling fighters while thurman, while not as dominant looking as he was a year or so ago, despatches those guys with ease. The result will depend on if danny wants to go for the win/ go out on his shield. It is unknown if Danny has a weak/strong chin because he hasn't really been put in vs a power puncher when you look at his opponents. Thurman will test his chin, and not everyone is a monster with a granite chin like Shawn Porter. Danny is not a great point fighter per say has lost alot of rounds for an "unbeaten" fighter. Hard to predict what Garcia will try to do, other then pull out of the fight. #I just went Savage

Champion97's picture

I can't comment on that, but I'll go along with what you say. I doubt it, I think the Garcias as in Angel are distant from the Garcias as in Robert and Mikey. Yeah I agree, and hey, I'm sure Thurman will run over the next guy who edges out Guerrero and nearly gets stopped by Peterson, but Danny Garcia, he just shoots up to the occasion, Garcia did prove himself when he beat Matthysse, and the Khan win was great, they shouldn't be forgotten, but I don't like that the Garcias have only given rematch to Morales (who was so out of date it made me sad), but Herrera and Peterson never got a look in did they?, I think that was unreasonable. Yeah I think so, especially if he is behind after 6 rounds. That is a good point, but let's be fair to him, he took thise shots from Peterson and and that great shot from Matthyssevery well indeed, I don't think his chin will let him down. I think Shawn Porter should get more recognition, that was a very close fight against Thurman in my opinion, yes he lost, but it was so close, and in the public eye, or at least some of it, Thurman is thought of as number one, which I believe he is, but Porter has been thought of as just another opponent. I really hope that doesn't happen, I think Garcia would become much more popular in defeat to Thurman than he ever has been in victory, agreed?

This unrelated to boxing, but do you remember once, when I said (trying to be taken seriously as a 17 year old) and I said "You'll feel awful if tomorrow you meet a lovely 17 year old who waves a wand and magically cures your troubles"? I have been laughing at that and sharing that with friends and family for two years, it was hilarious, I don't know why that was the first response that popped into my head.

Have you heard that Povetkin has tested positive for a banned substance, again?

I think at this point win or lose people are happy to see Garcia fight a big named fighter.

I did hear about Povetkin. lmao he should be banned from meaningful fights.

Champion97's picture

Me too, I'm interested to see hie Angel Garcia reacts to Danny losing if he loses.

It is hard for me to actually day it, because this is a mam's livelihood we are talking about here, butbI say ban him full stop, I'm all for safety in boxing increasing.

If you don't mind, maybe you could edit your first post on this card, because I edited mine, but no problem if not.

You planning on watching Whyte vs Chisora at some stage?, I think as a guy who loves a good old war, you would love it, seriously I highly recommend it.
