How was the fight?

Great, I can't believe how it panned out, Taylor was fantastic, his footwork, defence, ring IQ, those body shots, the accuracy, the method, the power, and the way he absorbed what Davies did land, Taylor just took him apart, he's on another level. Shame for Davies, but nah I enjoyed seeing him get stopped, we're supposed to not like him, he's like Broner, he's honest, but he's a villain in boxing, the only thing which disappointed me was the way the fight ended, I think Davies shouldn't have turned his back like that. Gervonta Davis has ripped Davies online after he, 'quit', I mean I can't blame people for using that word, haha, you've got to love Davis, nice guy, but talk crap and don't back it up, he'll bite, I think Davis should observe Berchelt vs Miura on Saturday, because if Berchelt puts up the performance I think he will, they just might be able to make a classic fight for the fans, my only concern would be Davies hitting so hard, that fight is short, bit no I think that goes long, and is great, in all honesty, in that division, Lomackenko, Davis, Berchelt, they make the division, I hope they fight each other, I don't know why Berchelt isn't talked about more.

I still have to see the fight to form an opinion. I only got to see the stoppage and knockdown. Looks like he broke Davies down. I don't blame Davis for going at him online, and what word was used against him? Also do you think Davies quit?
Mon, 2017-07-10 07:22
There isn't much of an opinion anyone can form, what happened in the ring, simply, was that Taylor dominated, broke down, stopped Davies. Quit, he didn't say much, he isn't a bully boy, but Davies has disrespected him in the past. That's a hard question for me to answer, it is not something I like to say, but in all honesty, I think you could say that, I think he didn't just flat out retire from the fight, I think he slipped into panic, in which he wasn't 100% sure he was going to carry on, so what I'm saying is, I don't think he quit, but I don't think he really kept fighting, continued, gave it his absolute best as a warrior should in this sport, I hope that doesn't sound harsh, but if someone is going to mouth off like that, and then in tbe fight they turn their back like that, the fans, are inevitably going to say he quit.

Taylor was the better man last night. From what I saw of the stoppage, I say he quit in panic mode really. He has never been in a sitution like that and had no idea what to do. That's true people will say that Davies quit because he was running his mouth too much.
What do you think is next for both?
Mon, 2017-07-10 08:34
Much better. I think that's fair to say.
Well Taylor vs Burns looks likely, for Davies, I don't know, Josh Leather maybe, I think that is a fight he'd lose though. What do you think?

Inexperience could've been the factor.
For Taylor, I think Burns could be next maybe Jack Catterall. If Postol ever returns and looks good in his return that can be a good fight for Taylor. For Davies I say take some time off then take an easy fight.

I don't think so, not professional experience, he's been at European level, beaten Derry Matthews, 15-0.
I think Burns is much more likely. Gokd match up. I don't know, I think Leather would beat him.
