Who you like Charlo or Julian Williams

Champion97's picture

I like Charlo, it's a good fight, and Williams should bring the fight to Charlo, he's unbeaten, he's passionate, but I just think Charlo is a class above, against Trout, he struggled, but he also learned a lot. I think Charlo gets the stoppage, what do you think?

I don't know if you've heard this already, but all the way up through his career, Charlo was legally blind!, he just had his vision corrected.

Round 1 - Could go either way
Round 2 - Charlo
Round 3 - Charlo
Round 4 - Could go either way
Round 5 - Could go either way
Round 6 - Could go either way
Round 7 - Could go either way
Round 8 - Charlo
Round 9 - Could go either way
Round 10 - Charlo
Round 11 - Trout
Round 12 - Could go either way

This was Charlo all the way I remember this Fight well Trout got his ass beat but on a few rounds barely. Trout is on that list of guys who didn't reach there potential in Boxing like Dawson,Pavlik,Taylor and many others who fall short of there own dreams not ours expectations.

Am I right in thinking he got beaten 115-113?, or 116-112?
Yeah I see what you mean, I mean, after he beat Cotto, wide, I put him up there with Mayweather, but with those three defeats, it is hard to put him right up there at the very top, having said that, I do still think he is underrated, I thought the Alvarez fight was very close and I know you had it 6-6, and I think Charlo is really underrated, and has a great future ahead of him. It was sad for Pavlik being humilated by Hopkins, obviously Froch rallied and managed to knock Taylor out, and of course Dawson, well he's not seemed to me like he really has anything left to give since the Stevenson fight, I expected him to get stopped against Fonfara.

You think Jermell will come throigh Charles Hatley?

It's a little wider Charlo was never in any danger of a loss and all the damage was in his favor. Trout is being used now as a Gatekeeper for the division in question Canelo included who dominated the Championship rounds against Trout the most important rounds of a fight that goes the distance Winning time.Dawson might be on the down side of his career call it the Hopkins curse but Fonfara got lucky and Dawson was unlucky but make no mistake even with the comeback loss against Fonfara Chad Dawson is on another talent level than Fonfara could have not done some of the things Chad Dawson did in his career.

Champion97's picture

I didn't see Dawson against Fonfara because it wasn't aired in the UK, but I heard he was a mile ahead, and was unfortunate, I suppose we've got to gove Fonfara credit for rallying late and pulling it off. So really Fonfara has over achieved while Dawson has under achieved.

Who you got Liam Walsh or Geravonta Davis?

All I know if we had Dawson & Fonfara in a gym everyday Dawson would generally get the better of the action don't want to be negative on Fonfara comeback win but that's just what it is comeback from the heat cause it's a big talent gap.

Champion97's picture

That's fair enough man, I understand, I mean, we give Rahman credit for knocking Lewis out, but there was a talent gap there, and had Lewis not beaten him in a rematch, we would say the same about him anyway.

If a rematch happens, do you think Ward beats Kovalev? Or would you pick the Krusher to win his belts back?

Kovalev that's what the hold up is Ward don't wanna let the 0 go and make a rematch cause he's not sure if it will go his way he felt the heat.

Champion97's picture

I hope he takes the rematch, because he will earn more respect win or lose if he fights Kovalev again than if the fight doesn't happen. I think Ward beats him again, I might end up eating my words like I did with Malignaggi vs Eggington and Linares vs Crolla, they are just two of my random predictions which I got wrong but I'm assuming you probably called, and with Haye vs Bellew, before the injury occured, what you said would happened seemed to be happening in rounds 4 and 5 when Haye got behind the jab, I do think it would have been interesting without the injury, and I did have problem with people calling it a 2 round mismatch. How do you think Bellew would do against Deontay Wilder?, I think if he is to have one big fight and then retire, that is more likely than the Haye rematch, because obviously for a start, Haye's achilles has to heal before he returns to the ring,
