very nice scorecard I agree basically although there were 2 rounds alvarez won on yours that could of gone either way.

Good to see you again vock.
I had it close, but after that final bell, GGG was the more confident fighter I sensed, I think he got a raw deal.
Who you got in the rematch?

I would obviously side with GGG in a rematch. I think he has some adjustments up his sleeve, perhaps not leave himself open to counter punches as much, and this time go for a knockout. It is impressive on Alvarez' part that he lasted 12 rounds and won 2 of the last 3, no other Golovkin opponent has lasted 12 rounds.

The size/strength advantage, the nice jab, ring generalship by making Canelo fight it out.

But, this is combat sports and anything can happen. Holyfield-Lewis2 was actually closer then the first fight that was also scored a draw to the dismay of many pundits and fans.

I think that was about youth, and also the fact that he'd been 12 nine times and GGG had only done it once, but it was still competitive, two well conditioned athletes that's for sure.

Lewis said that in an interview on Sky, I think Holyfield might have had a bad night the first time.

GGG did indeed show some defense issues, that i previously ignored

Yes, but heck, what a chin! I mean, Canelo landed some bombs there, and it is just like hitting a brick wall, but here is my concern, miles, toll taken from the first fight, he's 36, his punch resistance might not be the same next time.
I give Golovkin good shot, but I just think youth is the best advantage to have, could be wrong though.
I watched again the other day, and you can see Adalaide Byrd ringside, she's eithef blind as a bat, or is very biased, what she was thinking when Golovkin was repeatedly scoring points with the heavy jab, landing those good power shots around the guard, I'll never know, she gave Canelo more rounds than the Mexican fans and Canelo himself!!
