Dereck Chisora is an absolute legend for this one. Terrible fight from a technical perspective but a phenomenal scrap. A definite FOTY contender.

I had him ahead, as I thought his work was more damaging, especially his body work. Takam kept up a good work rate in spite, and I guess you can give him some of those rounds due to it, but I thought Chisora was chewing him up inside, and gradually getting Takam's guard down. Amazing fight, and great from both guys!

Yeah I agree, Takam had better volume but it seemed like Chisora was really putting a lot into his punches. This is the best Chisora has looked in many years for my money. I don't know how he still has such a good chin after all of the wars he's been in.

He's a monster. I just peaked back over his record on boxrec. The only time the guys loses, seems to be to elite talent, Helenius excluded. I'd like to see him in one more war. A 3rd with Fury next year maybe?

I don't think he's a monster, Wilder and Joshua are monsters, Chisora finished Takam when he had punched himself out, but still, very good win for Chisora. I think that's very unlikely for a few reasons, first and foremost, he lost every round to Fury, didn't have a second of success in 10 rounds.

I don't mean in the ring entirely (I get what you mean, probably used wrong word in moment), I just mean in terms of tonight + his temperament /demeanor. He fought well, and I think could sell a fight as well as anyone.
I agree in terms of what he did before against Fury. I don't think he is the same level all things being equal. But I think it would be interesting, and likely a money maker in the UK, as a prove it match for Fury to show he's back. Don't know if a bigger payday is out there for him, other than maybe fighting tonight's winner. I'd like to see him and Ortiz, but don't think that would make much money for either, and would be a damaging fight.

He got straight up robbed versus Helenius which is why Vitali gave him the title shot coming off of a "loss". When Chisora takes it seriously he's always been a tough out. I think he can get a better payday than Fury and I don't know if that would happen from a promotional perspective.
