He must like Frampton Leo won that and like you said even Team Frampton knows that both fights had a clear cut winner. And to Get back Heavyweights I like Wilder Over Joshua to me the top three heavyweights is Ortiz,Fury, Klitschko at least on fight film right now.

Champion97's picture

Haha, I think he just doesn't understand boxing, he also thinks Kell Brook beat Shawn Porter 118-110, I had Porter a couple up, it was a close fight, you had it a draw, if I'm not wrong.

http://www.eyeonthering.com/scorecards/shawn-porter-vs-kell-brook-scorec...

Me too, I think he has that natural talent which sets him apart, he's very versatile. You think Klitschko will beat Joshua then? Nobody can write Klitschko off, you could get a good few of these $, if you bet on Wlad.

Yeah it was Draw Porter caught 2 losses that should have been Draws tough luck one to Brook & Thurman. Lomachenko vs Solido should have been a Draw too sometimes judges for get Win lose or Draw they don't want to be the most important part of the fight but with 12 round fights it's gonna and should happen more that's why 15 round fights are better a odd number makes it harder to get a draw especially for someone like me who can decide close rounds.

This is a different, but not unrelated topic,

In my opinion, this is the order the top 8 147 lb fighters in the world,

1. Keith Thurman
2. Kell Brook
3. Shawn Porter
4. Danny Garcia
5. Errol Spence
6. Manny Pacquiao
7. Amir Khan
8. Tim Bradley

What do you think?

The media/fans need to let the next Heavyweight champion come from ring accomplishments we need a really skilled fighter to be the best Heavyweight champion no matter anything about him but his Boxing Talents.

I was just thinking Amir gonna beat Manny on points so you might have to flip flop them and you got Errol Spence too low he can compete with Mayweather for natural Boxing talent. If everything goes right for Spence he will be #1 on your list.

Champion97's picture

You think Pacquiao would have beaten him a few years ago, but Khan has the edge now?

So,

1. Thurman
2. Brook
3. Spence
4. Porter
5. Garcia
6. Khan
7. Pacquiao
8. Bradley

Would you say that's more accurate?

Spence is a cut above the rest in my opinion.

I think Spence would have given Mayweather his toughest fight at welterweight.

I want to see Jarrell Miller vs Bermane Stiverne or any kind of step up for Miller he's Kick Boxing guy talking big stuff I want to see him get a proper Boxing opponent.

Champion97's picture

Yeah?, that sounds like a good one, man, Miller is outspoken, but as I'm you know, often doing something outlandish or making yourslef unpopular is a great way to secure big fights.
I just read that Wilder vs Stiverne II has been ordered, I'm not crazy about that fight.

Me neither its a waste of time Stiverne didn't win enough rounds to get a rematch that's politics on both sides Wilder want a easy fight with a good pay day if takes that King and Stiverne would sacrifice his career force feeding him Wilder he should want to rebound with others wins then go after Wilder if he' earns his way back with them being 1 and 2 in the division and I don't see that at all.

Champion97's picture

I want to see Joshua vs Ortiz, or Wilder vs Ortiz, you the the feeling promoters are trying yo smoke out Ortiz?, he's in his late thirties, and he's a massive threat, it's a shame that these fights don't get made, so many questions, not enough answers, and nobody get's the chance to properly claim the top spot in the division.

Champion97's picture

How about Miller vs Hughie Fury?

Yeah that's good I like Hughie hope he gets his issues right before he fights someone so confident on winning but soon enough he is the best young UK Heavyweight next to AJ & Joe Joyce I like him AJ better look out for Joyce in the future I see that being a Super fight in the UK 2 UK Olympic stars face off how you like that remember you heard it hear first from Boxing Knowledge.

Champion97's picture

All good fights, but I hope Tyson gets back to health.
Don't worry, I'll remember that.

I might have asked you this before, but who do think wins next weekend, Thruman, or Garcia?

I got Thruman Boxing on the back foot or a dust up.

Champion97's picture

Yeah me too, I hope Thurman gets the winner of Brook vs Spence, who do you think wins that one?, I think Brook.

I got Spence he already did great and we ain't seen his best not even close I seen Brook best already and trust me if Carson Jones could give him trouble Spence gonna give him fits Spence is on another level I already know he just got to show you guys and the rest of the world. How many rounds you think Thurman vs Garcia going you think its going the distance all 12 rounds.

Champion97's picture

By that logic, nobody can argue, Spence showed devastating power against an extremely durable fighter in Leonard Bundu, I thought the way he set up that KO was beautiful, and Kell Brook is nit invincible, but prediction was just Brook, mainly because of experience, and overall skill, but I think I'll reconsider, especially if your picking Spence to win big. you think Spence will get the stoppage. I'm British, and I don't want to root for Brook, notbthat I don't like him, just that I'm a big fan of Errol Spence, would you say that is worng in this sport?, ns you should always root for the guys of your nationality?

I think it will go the distance, and Thurman will have to fight hard to win, I think he will, and I think the fight will slightly easier than the Porter fight was, Porter being brished off annoys me, he deserves the Thurman rematch in my opinion, wafer thin victory and a great fight, don't see why more people aren't calling for the rematch.

This is unrelated to boxing, but do you run marathons?

I never go for nationality I listen to my gut and my beautiful Boxing mind for example I'am Black American if I think colored fighter is will lose or is over matched I will say that for example yesterday I was talking big on Luis Ortiz remember I'am not Cuban or a Homer for any country or race even my own another example I'am from Chicago Granados fought Broner I picked Broner for Boxing reason if I got upset it would have been Boxing reason not Granados is Chicagoian like me he has ability sometimes the guy I like is one of the Homies like Robert Easter beating Cruz for example but if Easter was a white or hispanic kid with same ability I would have still picked him in Ward Vs Kovalev I had the Russian Kovalev remember I'am not Russian or do I care that they win or I root for them it tons of examples like that with me. So we got Thurman on points. I run not marathons I run the streets and its a big hill near my house I run it sometimes funny you bring it up I was out there today working out. Most of my exercises is Skill based I do combat sports training a long side my health/cardio etc training.

Champion97's picture

That feels a lot more freeing to me, I'll be very happy for Spence if he pulls it off, I think Spence's opportunity is long overdue. I heard Floyd Mayweather say, in a recent interview, thatbhe believes soon, the top two in the world, will be Canelo Alvarez and Errol Spence. Do you think Spence has the beating of Thurman too?

I know a few people who have been to Chicago, and they say it's awesome

That's awesome, hills a great for training, last year, I ran a half marathon, and that had a few hills, on of them was a mile long hill, it has been named 'cardiac hill', there has to be an ambulance nearby for those who struggle, is is very steep, I'm running that same half marathon later in the year, and I'm hoping to finish inside 100 minutes, and then run a full one later in the year.

Spence is prime Roy Jones with better fundamentals my too favorite young prospects for future success in Boxing is Spence & Andrade

Champion97's picture

Thank you!, I keep talking about Andrade, he is avoided, I think, and for promotional reaosons he doesn't get enough opportunities, but against Willie Nelson, he really impressed, amd I thimk he us extremely underrated, I just hope he gets the bigger fights, if he does, he could prove to a much better fighter than he's given credit for, because he's in a great division. Of Golovkin vs Alvarez happens one day, who you got?

When its all said and done 154 pounds gonna have go thur Andrade he got side track by Jay Z and Roc nation who made a mistake no signing him it was 2 million soon that's gonna be a steal for Boo Boo. GGG
