Good fight. Even though this fight shows us that someone with the ability to stick and move effectively can expose Garcia. Everyone already knew that Khan's chin was questionable so you can never rule out an upset when he faces a guy like Garcia. As far as Garcia's next fight, I'm going with Peterson provided that he boxes smart.

Really? It is an interesting fight but when for the love of god will Garcia face somebody of note again, I mean his acts as if he the best on the planet even though he has not been very busy since beating Salka who is average and after 2 disputable wins. I'm going with Garcia but it is a tough on to predict.

I know its probably against what most of the pundits are saying, but to me it seems as though a fighter who can keep Garcia at long range, be quick, and move angularly can give Garcia a real tough time. When Peterson is good, he can be those things I just mentioned. When he's not good is when he tries to show off his machismo and slug it out which is why he got pummeled by Matthyse and drew with Ortiz. If the Peterson that shows up to work to box smart I think he has a real good shot of out-pointing Garcia. If he shows up to slug then I predict a knock out in two. Just depends on which Peterson shows up.

I think this fight will end up a disappointment, I'm not a fan of either of them. So Mayweather vs Pacman is getting closer, I'm still not convinced it will happen and I don't know why on earth people want it in May when they could have it in September an d this way Khan gets his much deserved shot. Pacman wins in great fashion, agreed?

Despite what the media says neither Pacquiao or Mayweather really want to fight each other. If Pacquiao really wanted to fight Mayweather so badly he would not have signed with TopRank promotions. Plus I don't think Mayweather likes the idea. Even if it did happen nothing would be proven because you will still have the fans asking what would have happened had the fight happened 6-7 years ago. In the time where they both were miles better. During that time I do think Pacquiao would have won because back then his motions were made in a much more unpredictable rhythm and everything he did just had more fire to it. I'm not going out there and saying that he has no fire, but the fire isn't as hot as it used to be.
2014 was probably the worst year of Floyd's career. First he nearly lost to Marcos Maidana but yet clearly won the rematch. I think that when Floyd was at his best he could have made "El Chino" look like a goofball in the ring, but now he just couldn't do that. This begs the question of how well Mayweather could handle Pacquiao who is without question a much smarter fighter. Well here's how I picture it.
Round 1-4 Pacquiao wins the first but gets caught with some counters. 2-3 Mayweather counters him nicely while Pacquiao tries to close the distance. Round 4 Pacquiao closes the distance and is landing while Mayweather is countering. 2-2.
Mayweather is sticking moving and finding the range while Pacquiao is still bulldozing inside. Mayweather in most of the middle rounds is hitting Pacquiao with decent regularity and Pacquiao is having trouble finding him. There will be one round though where Pacquiao catches Mayweather with a hook and steals the round. 7-3
Mayweather has it in gear and widely wins the 11th and then cruises the 12th knowing that he is ahead on the scorecards. 116-112 Mayweather.
The reason why Mayweather had trouble with Maidana is because Maidana has no basic rhythm which made it harder for adjustments. Pacquiao would have took this advantage and used this to exploit Mayweather 7 years ago, but not today.

Woah, I never thought I'd say this but I strongly disagree with everything you just said, Mayweather did clearly win the second Chino fight but there was not much in it, Mayweather was hurt, tired way before Chino and lost the most one sided round of the fight. Pacquiao beats mayweather any day, he throws far more punches, has better stamina which means he can be at a certain level for a lot longer, he is much stronger, he is faster, he moves his head a lot, his feet are faster, Pacuqiao looked as good as ever against Algieri, the power was there which is more than I can for the woman beating, overated skumbag your defending. Mayweather has clearly slowed down. No question pacquaiao beats Mayweather. I do agree that Pacquiao isn't the brightest and can get clumsy which is why he will probably get countered but he throws so many that Mayweather will get caught with them if his hands leave his face for a split second. He won't get an opportunity to land 1 without taking 2. When did you become a fan of Floyd Mayweather? Pacquiao can box beautifully at long range, better than Mayweather, Pacquiao boxed Bradley at long range for part of the fight and looked better than Mayweather. Chino is unorthodox but he is a legend, he would never have been made to look like a goofball, the only thing he lacked against Mayweather was hand speed.
Don't take any of what I've said the wrong way, I still think your an awesome judge man, good to hear from you again. It makes it more interesting if we disagree. I can't be bothered to write it all now but I have so much more to say about this fight, I would be very interested to see if you still think Mayweather stands a chance against Pacquiao after I have finished rambling on. We are wasting our time really, Maywetaher vs Pacquiao probably won't happen. How is your boxing going? who knows one day it could be you getting talked about on Eye on the ring.
