Prediction competition changes

Floyd tough competitor mayweather made a suggestion about a month back, that the outcome shouldn't always be the most decisive factor with the PCOM points, and he has a point, calling an MD/SD even if you get the narrow winner wrong, is still not a bad prediction.

To make PCOM fairer, I have changed the points system.

Call a MD/SD but not the outcome, you earn 2 points, not 0, that's the only change I've made.

If anyone has any suggestions for other changes, feel free to post a comment.

Re: Prediction competition changes

I agree with this as a change and it is why I never predicted MD/SD personally.

Re: Prediction competition changes

Good, PCOM hasn't done as well this month, hopefully it picks back up again in April.

Re: Prediction competition changes

This also counts for a draw right?

Great change, good work champ!

Because if someone predicts for example that Porter vs Ugas would be a draw or a split decision win for Ugas they predicted the fight in a better manner than someone who predicted that Porter would KO Ugas within 4 rounds. But still the person who predicted the Porter blowout would get more points. That was my argument. I'm glad you did something with it.

Re: Prediction competition changes

Yes it does.

Thanks man, and no problem, good idea from you, MDs are a good pick.
