I just hope it last at least 4 Rounds :)
Fri, 2017-03-10 17:22
This will be a great fight!

I think this is a fantastic fight, I think Gennady Golovkin has been under challanged for long time now, the only two times when I believe we have seen him challanged to a degree, were his fights against Martin Murray, and Kell Brook, Murray was able to last 10-11 rounds which was something we had never seen before, and Kell Brook seemed to have a lot to give in their fight, but a facial injury scuppered his chances of making that a long fight. I believe Danny Jacobs is nearly as good as Kell Brook, and more importantly, he is not as a real disadvantage in weight, he is a real middleweight, and with the possible exception of Brook, I believe Jacobs is better than anyone GGG has faced before.
I think Golovkin will win this fight, I can see it going to into the final round, I think Jacobs will make it fascinating, long, entertaining, competitive, and he will give Gennady work to do, but ultimately, I think Golovkin will still show himself to be levels above his opponent, and I think he will win with another ruthless stoppage.
To be precise, I'm going to say Golovkin stops Jacobs in 12 rounds, with the scorecards reading, 106-101, 107-100, and 108-99.

You didn't add a photo for this fight why not could you add one tonight.
Sat, 2017-03-18 17:23
It really sucks you didn't have a photo ready for this fight its the biggest fight so far this year.GGG over everything that happened so far.
Sat, 2017-03-18 17:38
I know it sucks, but I didn't add this fight, so even if I could add a photo, for this fight, it would be put of my hands, I'm not sure who added it.

Hey pal, check it!http://eyeonthering.com/boxing/gennady-golovkin-vs-danny-jacobs
Sat, 2017-03-18 20:58
Hope it's a good one.
Sat, 2017-03-18 21:53
WHOA! ...Danny Jacobs managed to go to the distance against GGG...that alone is a a great achievement
Sat, 2017-03-18 21:55
I'm checking other sources' cards....and surprinsingly they are giving Jacobs too many rounds...It's true he pushed GGG back from time to time...but he barely landed something with authority. GGG didn't overwhelm Jacobs with punches and even missed, but he when he landed he clearly landed quality....
Sat, 2017-03-18 22:18
Jacobs landed more than you think.
Sat, 2017-03-18 21:57
UD for GGG...Totally agree with the Judges...but still surprised by the cards from fans favoring Jacobs.
Sat, 2017-08-12 09:06
Haha, yeah, funny that, many real experts, had Jacobs winning, so button it, could have gone either way, 115-112, fine score, 116-111, rubbish.
Sat, 2017-03-18 22:22
For the record...I think Kell Brook gave GGG a better fight than Jacobs.
Sat, 2017-03-18 22:43
For the record...I think you should head to see an optician.
Sat, 2017-03-18 22:49
Or maybe I need to head to the optitians, because my eyes tell me I just read something which I just can't believe I read. Had Jacobs won this fight, it would have been legitimate, says who?, says the best experts in the UK, you can argue and complain all you want about people who are scoring a fight which doesn't fit your sudo version of the sport, but you're wrong.
Sat, 2017-03-18 22:58
This is the perfect what you like fight a prime example why we need 15 round Championship fights.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:01
I know buddy, which fight was it again which caused them to be outlawed?
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:26
Mancini vs Kim I believe.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:28
Oh yeah that's the one, thanks.
I'm putting your fights on here soon pal.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:36
The last 15 round fight was Buddy McGirt vs Howard Davis Jr and Davis Jr got Knocked out in the first round. They got rid of 15 round fights because its easier to corrupt a 12 round fight. 15 rounds leaves no doubts.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:38
Or the lie they told Fighter safety.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:43
I can see that, because I don't really see how it makes that much difference to essential safety, I mean, a lot of damage can be done in 12 rounds, so your explanation makes a lot more sense.
Didn't Danny Jacobs do great tonight?, I mean, he didn't win, but it seemed to me like he did everything but.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:41
The ancestors set 15 rounds for a reason its a odd number you need a odd number in close fights and we still have close fights today and its always gonna be close fights so we as Fight fans where do we go but Controversy.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:44
That's a great point, maybe they should have brought it down to 13 rounds.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:42
It was a plan to try and kill the Sport.
Sat, 2017-03-18 23:51
If you wanna hinder something in sports you take away every one knows do you see them taking away games in other sports no they adding games and team to all major sports and making it year long with no regards for the players well being but to keep them ready to play and return from injury soon as possible.

It started with Howard Cosell and his crusade against Boxing after Holmes Vs Cobb Cosell turned his back on Boxing after Ali and it made him a world wide star and paid him more money and famous better than any other sport he ever covered. He got to that next level riding Ali coattail.
Sun, 2017-03-19 01:29
Fight could've gone either way. Surprised it wasn't a split decision. IMO GGG barely escapes with his title. Hopefully after this performance Canelo will want to fight GGG now.
Sun, 2017-03-19 09:06
I agree, I think GGG got the benefit of the doubt, but it not being a split decision was just unfortunate for Jacobs, I think the judges, 114-113 and 115-112, 6-6 and 7-5, are very fair.
I hope the rematch happens.
Sun, 2017-03-19 01:35
Both fights got the same odds so if everything holds up Canelo got his own close fight he could Win, lose or draw.
Sun, 2017-03-19 01:45
Another thing I fine interesting is the amount of people who favor the guy on the backfoot vs our Boxing ancestors who taught me and the best living Boxing minds gives those swing rounds to the aggressor looking for damage ie GGG.Unless the guy on the backfoot backs up the guy on the front foot or scores a Knockdown going backwards.
Sun, 2017-03-19 02:04
I guess Folks like Ali,Leonard,Mayweather its more acceptable nowadays.
Sun, 2017-03-19 02:10
Good thing the judge tonight must have learned Boxing similar to me so they weighed all the factors and got it correct.
Sun, 2017-03-19 02:20
You know that's one of the things that makes Sugar Ray Robinson better than all those who rival him for best ever all time he was equally impressive on the front foot for being a classic Boxer better than any other Boxer with movement Robinson could do both at a moments notice.
Tue, 2017-03-21 04:48
Jacobs deserves a rematch after this performance.
Sun, 2017-05-07 23:27
FTR I decided not to judge this fight as my love affection for Golovking would shade my schorecard, but I do think he truly won this fight. I mean. it's simple. 4 pillars. golovking landed more and was more accurate too boot. With the British boxing gods, sometimes they are spot on but sometimes they are ass backwards, or perhaps they make up there own way of scoring fights and not the general way that the rules apply to all boxing fights.............
Mon, 2017-05-08 02:28
I think Golovkin won this fight, but it could have gone either way, and let's give Jacobs credit, he won at least 5 rounds against Golovkin, and unlike every other Golovkin opponent I've seen, he was never seriously hurt, he proved he is the goods, right on Golovkin's level, always thought he was underrated.
As a Brit, I can tell you, that it isn't quite like that, but, I would definitely say the US is better for boxing knowledge in general, and I think most of the top analysts are in the US, plus, so many media members, just get on my nerves, as someone who knows enoigh about boxing to know they talk s***, and this is where you're right, these idiots, Jeff Powel for example (twin brother of crusty from The Simpsons, haha), do exactly what you said, they never really learned how to score a boxing fight, and they have pretty mcuh just contructed a kind of sudo version of boxing scoring, thinking they are right, I mean, Gareth A Davies saying Canelo beat Lara 9-3 for example. It isn't that the boxing media over here change from taking sense to talking s***, it is that there are some which know what they are talking about, and some which don't, unfortunately, a lot of the big British newspapers, have journalists, reporters, it is just that the poorer analysts, are the ones with the power, and the privileges of speaking on air, this is an issue over here, as are the gullible media, when Paulie Malignaggi was over here, on SkySports, talking about Haye vs Bellew, the presenter wasted about 3 full minutes asking him about Mayweather vs McGregor, from what I've seen, in the USA, most people understand exactly what that fight is, and how seriously it should be taken.

This was a fantastic performance from Jacobs, I had him losing by 1 point, 6-6, but that knockdown, good knockdown, clearly clean, legitimate, but Jacobs not hurt, that knockdown is what lost him the fight in my opinion, had he not been dropped, I would have had the fight a draw, and it would have been a majority decision had Golovkin not scored that knockdown.
After 3 tense, close rounds, it looked like Golovkin was becoming, not unlike himself, dominant, with those two great rounds in the 4th and 5th, but Jacobs, from round 6 onwards, he was boxing out of his skin, Golovkin, right with him, landing with the more authorities punches, the harder shots, sometimes the cleaner work, not always though, but what a close, interesting fight this was. I'm disgusted for Jacobs that so many people talk about him as 'just another Golovkin opponent who lost', for goodness sake! Jacobs won at least 5 rounds in there, went the distance, was never really hurt, people needed to calm the heck down, and process that, because he proved himself to be in the same class as GGG, I think he is a notch below, maybe it was something of an off night for Golovkin, but at the most he is a broken down level above Jacobs, Jacobs is leaps and bounds ahead of most of Golovkin's previous opponents, and he's better than Murray and Brook, nobody has ever gone 11 full rounds, or won more than 2 rounds against Golovkin, well Jacobs went 12, was never on the verge of being stopped, and won at least 5 rounds!
