Round 1- Like their first two fights, they get a fast pace going quick. Pacquiao is firing the straight left to the midsection of Morales, and starts to find him with the lead right hook. Morales tries to rush in and land combinations a few times, but he is unable to land much.

Round 2- Morales gets Pacquiao against the ropes quickly, but Pacquiao gets then to trade places with his combination punching. As Morales is working off the jab and loading counters, Pacquiao is still landing the lead left both upstairs and downstairs. Morales starts to unload shots and gets Pacquiao against the ropes again only to run into a quick counter left hook to the jaw that drops him to a knee. After taking the count, Morales attempts to finish strong by taking the fight to Pacquiao and forcing him to trade. A fierce exchange that Morales seems to edge closes out the round, but things would get even worse for him in the next one.

Round 3- Morales shows more patience in this round, but it ends up not mattering. Pacquiao is having great accuracy with his offense, as he starts to attack the body before finishing off to the head with each punch seemingly having effect. A right hook to the head has Morales hurt. Pacquiao follows up briefly before Morales wobbles out of the corner. As Pacquiao continues to punish Morales, a right hook and left hand send Morales crashing down on his rear. Morales shows the heart of a champion as usual and tries to slug with Pacquiao, but this only makes it easy for Pacquiao to blast him woth left hands, each one wobbling him to some degree. A hard left hand on the button sends Morales crashing down again in the same position in what is the third time he is down in the fight, and fifth in his saga with Pacquiao. Morales appears to give up, shaking his head as he is counted out. A statement win by Pacquiao. Though Morales had lost some focus by this time and was a bit drained, Pacquiao impressively dominated him before closing with sensational fashion, sealing the deal between their rivalrly in the best way possible. Not only is Pacquiao the first to stop Morales, but the only one to stop him twice. Things would get worse for Morales from here, but Pacquiao was on his way to do more great things.
