The card started earlier than I thought, still Saturday here. Unfortunately, it isn't shown in British TV, hopefully it will be available tomorrow. I take it you're still fairly confident Lopez beats Commey, I think Commey wins, but I think it will be a great fight either way.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if Teo doesn't. Just think Commey's style of pressuring combined with being fairly hittable leave him open to those sharp, power counters from Teo. I think Teo by KO still.

It does, but I see Commey forcing Lopez to work hard, not letting him box comfortably, I think he will make it too much of a professional fight at times, and even though I give him a better chance after the Nakatani fight, I still think Lopez is slightly too inexperienced to deal with a fighter of Commey's level but also his rugged style, Commey swings wildly, has a shootout, can be countered, but he is also hard to prepare for. I think Lopez can out box Commey already, but in a 12 round fight, with all the aspects of the professionals, I think Commey still just about has the beating of him.

Props to you bro, you called it.

I just thought the styles fit too well for Teo. Come forward, aggressive fighters play into his hands with that counter punching and power. Will be interesting to see how Loma maneuvers him with his footwork, while staying out of range for the power. That matchup stylistically is very intriguing.

Yeah man you were right, I don't like Lopez, but I try to be unbiased, and credit to him, he did better with a step up in class, no hype job by any stretch, that being said, I don't think he can beat Lomachenko any time soon, I think Lopez will lose to Lomachenko similar to how Canelo lost to Mayweather and for the same reasons. I don't any reason for the fight not to happen in April. What did you think of Crawford vs Kavaliauskas?

SalTnutZ1's picture

I thought both showed grit. Crawford seemed to want the dog fight. Probably could have boxed him a bit more and not get caught like he did in the first 4 rounds, but he did what he wanted, and still broke his mans will like he always does. I want to see them get a fight done with PBC, as I don't think Besputin, who is the only real WW left for TR to serve Bud, has much of a shot or appeal. Bud vs Porter would be good, as we know Spence will be out awhile, and I doubt they'd send Pac or DSG into that fight.
