Super fun fight. A disappointing ending going to the cards after 9 due to an accidental headbutt? A good back and forth slugfest where the jab, technical skill and movement of Konadu presents a tough puzzle for the hard hitting Moon. 5 knockdowns and some very heated exchanges along the way.

PS I scored 4 10-9 for Konadu because even though he scored a KD in the rd I felt like Moon won the most of the round outside of that. 10-8 is reasonable even though I did not.

Yeah I struggled to score that round. Had to watch it a few times. 10-9 is definitely understandable, but I felt like Konadu did just enough to keep it as a 10-8 round. Moon’s 10-8 round in the previous one was more clear for sure, along with round 1 by default

Fight of the year for 1990! Shame that nobody ever talks about it. I’ve only known about this fight for about a week now, and I can already say it’s one of my favorite fights of all time.
