RD1 Ali 10-9
Clay(Ali) using his jab and distance well, as the powerful veteran of the ring Moore, ducks and stalks his way into distance, but finds himself unable to close on Ali. Ali continues to fight tremendously off the back foot, using his jab and fast combinations to fluster the stalking Moore. By the end of the ring, a fairly stationary Moore lets Clay take center ring and throw power shots as the bell rings.

RD2 Ali 10-9
To begin the round, Clay stands center ring, and attempts to pick at a seemingly tiring Moore, who on his veteran, but very worn legs, spent a lot of energy trying to pin down Clay in round 1. Moore attempts to clinch, but following the break, Clay continues to stand center ring, and wobbles Moore with a straight right hand. Moore doesn't seem to have an answer for Clay, attempting wild, winging punches to attempt to get Clay along the ropes, to no avail. Clay circling Moore in center ring, trying to land power shots, as Moore is stationary and has little answer for the speed of Clay. Clay rips left and right hooks in rapid succession to end the round.

RD3 Ali 10-9
Clay begins the round, again controlling center ring, while ripping shots into the head of Moore, more as a means to control his man, rather than trying to land the big blow. Moore continues to have no answers, as the height, reach, and footwork of Clay are far superior, and Clay is doing what he pleases in first minute of the round. Moore is attempting very few punches, and gets stung by another straight right from Clay that wobbles his legs again. Clay steps on the gas this time, attacking his man and backs him into the ropes with his continued attacks. Clay continues to be patient, as the ever tiring Moore can do little other than wing the occasional power shot, to no avail.

Finally, in RD4, Clay has Moore so tired and desperate, he clips him in an exchange and drops Moore. The veteran, tough as nails Moore, rises, only to be dropped again, as much out of exhaustion as it is from the punches from Clay. Moore rises once again, only to be dropped again seconds later, finally ending the fight.
