Prediction,

Egorov was a good amateur, and as a professional, he is 8-0, he's inexperienced, but his opposition has not been bad, has beat Lateef Kayode and Thomas Oosthuizen, and beat them both well. I don't know if this a step up for Egorov, but it might be, I think Golovashchenko is on the same level as Kayoda and Oosthuizen, he can punch a bit, Golovashchenko, I don't think he hits as hard as his KO percentage suggests, but he has power, so Egorov doesn't want to make too many mistakes. It will be interesting to see if Egorov can make a statement, stop Golovashchenko, beat him a lot better than Kevin Lerena, who is a good fighter, Golovashchenko didn't lose a one sided fight against Lerena, he did get stopped against Alexander Frank, but that was ay heavyweight.

If Golovashchenko can do what he did against Lerena, he can't be written off, has a chance, but after being stopped at heavyweight, I don't think he will, so I think Egorov will win, and win well, but I think this will be a competitive fight, might go the distance, and if does go 12 rounds, that's unfamiliar territory for Egorov. I think Egorov wins a UD.

I think Egorov is the top prospect at Cruiserweight. I think if they fought now, he’d KO Okolie.

That's interesting, not sure I agree, but I have never seen Egorov fight. Sometimes you think a division has nothing, but you keep seeing unbeaten prospects on BoxRec, and it goes from a weak division to a good division very quickly, people complain about the heavyweight division, saying Wilder vs Joshua is dead, Fury with ESPN delays the Wilder rematch, nobody at heavyweight, well with Dubois, Gorman, Hrgovic, Ajagba, and more, it is a good division, and with cruiserweight, you think the division is dead now Usyk has schooled Gassiev and moved up, Lebedev is old, Bellew is retired, the division is open, but I can't wait for tje fights tonight, they are 50/50 fights, no great fighters, but all good fighters, my dad thinks Dorticos is top dog at 200, I think he is the weakest, at that shows how well matched they are at cruiserweight in the WBSS, also Egorov, Lerena, Tishchenko, Okolie, the division is not doing bad. I am impressed by Okolie, people seem to have decided, like it is a given fact, that he will never be a world champion, same as Ryan Garcia, has a lot to learn, but is an unbeaten prospect who keeps winning, we'll see if he is world level, but Okolie was better against Camacho than Askin. I think Lebedev vs Okolie is a great match up, experience of Lebedev against the youth of Okolie, interesting fight, I can see it happening, because Lebedev fought on the Matchroom card in Monte Carlo in November, so Hearn should be able to make the fight.

How is your mom doing? Still too early to say?, or is she responding well to the treatment?

I think Okolie has good size, good reach, some power, but falls into points of complacency and will give up his size at times he shouldn't. Egorov reminds me a bit of Gassiev, possibly with more power. He can really attack, has good variety. Could move a bit better, but uses his stationary times to draw opponents in and set up big shots. I can't wait to see both step up. Hear Lebedev may either retire, or find a fight more lucrative for his final bout or two, likely wanting to fight in Russia. I'd like to see either guy vs Lebedev.

She's okay. Had the week off from treatment, but starts back on Monday. Responding okay, other than getting stomach sickness due to the chemo. Still early though. Has at least 6 more weeks or treatment.

I've noticed that, but I think his movement is very good, he is good at attacking on the inside without over reaching and the shots going behind his opponents head at close quarters, that's something Hrgovic did very well against Corbin. If he hits harder than Gassiev he must be some puncher. So would I, it seems unlikely we see Lebedev vs Okolie in Russia though, I would have thought Hearn would have wanted to put it on a Matchroom bill, probably in the UK, at the O2 or Wembley.

You watching any of or all of the fights tonight? You said before you have two screens, which is handy. I'm not watching Fury vs Schwarz or Warrington vs Galahad, because the only option is to pay £360 for a year's subscription. I'm looking forward to seeing the WBSS semi-final, two great match ups, if I had to pick one of the 3 bills, I'd pick that one, because it's two 50/50 fights.

That's great to hear she's responding okay, myself and my family have been praying for her, I'm very sorry you and your family have had go through this. Those 62% who never get cancer are very lucky, I really hope cancer research is more successful in the next few years, I want to run for Cancer Research this year, I've raised over £200 for the National Autistic Society, that's for this half marathon I've got in 2 weeks, but I'd aim for £300 if I did a marathon for Cancer Research, that's my plan.

I'm watching WBSS card now, and Fury card tonight. Will catch up on Warrington card, Dalakian, and the Moloney Bros cards tomorrow when I wake up.

Hey man, that's great. Its a fight we expect to win, but yeah, the funding to end cancer needs to come however we can get it, so it's great you do charity runs for it.

Solid performance from Egorov, Golovashchenko was very disappointing, but Egorov looked solid, good prospect.
