Prediction,

I think Figueroa is a very talented fighter, but he is an example of wasted talent, he is 29, still young, unbeaten, still a fresh fighter, but his dedication, dicipline is disappointing, his conditioning has let him down in the past. Figueroa comes off 19 months out, he beat Robert Guerrero in July 2017, looked great, made a statement, stopped him in 3 rounds, dropped him 5 times, beat him into retirement, but he came off 19 months out then as well, so he has not been past 3 rounds, not had more than 1 fight, in over 3 years, Figueroa. Inactivity is a real issue for Figueroa, but he is coming back to the ring now, can do well at world level if he fights twice in 2019, but he has to stay consistent. This is a good fight for Figueroa, Molina is very beatable, but it is not too easy either.

Molina was supposed to fight Victor Ortiz in September, but obviously that didn't happen. Molina has been the underdog before, come back from behind to stop opponents. Molina is 35, he took a lot of damage against Matthysse and Crawford, he has been in a lot of hard fights, has a lot of miles, but shouldn't be shot just yet, and is always dangerous, is one of those fighters who can turn it around when it goes against him. He should be confident that he could beat an inactive Figueroa.

Molina has activity on his side, he has fought 3 times in the last 3 years, went 12 rounds against Provodnikov in 2016, fought in December 2017, 14 months out, is bit of a layoff, but not as long as 19 months.

Figueroa has a better chin, hasn't been down I don't think, Molina has been down at least 4 times, probably more, Figueroa is 6 years younger, a lot fresher, and more durable.

Both fighters hit hard, I think for sheer power, Molina might hit harder.

Both fighters have fought mostly at 135 and 140, Molina is taller, Figueroa has more reach, I think they are pretty much the same size.

I think Figueroa is better than Molina, I don't think Molina is a good technical fighter at all, Figueroa isn't a great technical fighter I don't think, doesn't use his reach, but he is more technically skilled than Molina, is a very good inside fighter.

I think Figueroa wins this, he'll probably have problems, but he will come on as the rounds go on, he'll go the better work on the inside, inflict more damage, Molina will be tough, if Figueroa drops him but doesn't have him absolutely out on his feet, he will take a big shot or two when he tries to get rid of him, but I don't think Molina will hurt him, I think Figueroa has a great chin.

I would not be surprised if Figueroa stopped Molina, depends how close to shot Molina is, but I think Molina will go 12, I don't think Figueroa is an absolute top, top level puncher, and Molina does have a good chin, might still be durable enough to soak up Figueroa's best shots late in the fight. I think Molina will grit it out until the final bell, but he will lose a very wide UD, maybe 117-109, 118-108.

Commentating ruined this fight.
Made the fight way closer then it really was.

Why has he been so inactive? Is he another victim of Mr Cancer?

I do not have access to rounds 6 and 7, I'll score as the majority of the scorers on here did, round 6 to Molina, round 7 to Figueroa.
