Prediction,

Great match up.

Fortuna has fought at the slightly higher level overall, he's been in against Easter, Sosa, Granados, he was a world champion in 2015-16, beat Bryan Vasquez for the vacant title. Bogere has not had a title fight in 5-6 years, not fought an opponent with 3 or less losses in that time, he was a North American champion in 2011, did beat Raymundo Beltran, but overall, and certainly in recent years, Fotuna has fought the stronger opposition. I thought Fortuna was unfortunate not to get the decision against Easter, he was stopped against Sosa, so for wins, there is as much in it. Bogere only has one loss, a competitive, but not close UD defeat against Richard Abril, who I think was always underrated.

I think Bogere has a better chin than Fortuna, I believe Bogere has been down at least once, but Fortuna has been stopped, been down in at least 3 fights.

I don't think there is too much in it for power, but Fortuna has 2% more KOs, and he might have fought the slightly better opponents overall, so Fortuna might have a slight egde in power.

Both fighters have a similar amount fo experience, both 29-30, both been a professional for about 10 years, both had 30odd fights, both been in 1-4 world title fights, and both had relatively short but half-decent amateur careers.

Fortuna might be a slight favourite, he's the former world champion, but he is coming off a fight he finished in a bad way, fell out of the ring, it is unknowable whether or not he was telling the truth aboit falling and hurting his neck, but mentally, with the Easter loss, then the Granados fight, he might not be in as good a place as Bogere, who is on a winning streak, he is coming off 3 shutout wins in a row, not against good fighters, but not against fighters with losing records, and against very tough fighters, his last two, been stopped either once or never in their career, so he gets the rounds in, stays active, but he also isn't in tough fights that put miles on him, so in terms of recent form, momentum, Bogere might be better off than Fortuna, then again, in terms of recent opposition, Fortuna is better prepared for this fight, and Bogere is not coming off a big statement win.

This is a 50/50 fight, I can see either winning, but I think a draw.

I’m with you buddy, this one is tough call for me, too, based off what you laid out above. I thought Fortuna knew the momentum of the fight was turning on him, especially with the point deduction, so he found a way out when it presented itself. Obviously I don’t know for sure and always hate to lay that on a guy, but I don’t see how it was a real injury. Should be interesting to see whether the momentum/confidence of Bogere can outweigh the level/skills that Fortuna has shown in the past.

Fortuna may not be the most likable personality but he's still one of the best LWs around. Bogere seems interesting but has never had a real opponent and fights too slow to keep up with someone like Fortuna. Fortuna UD 116-112.

I think 'one of the' is too ambiguous, top 5?, I don't think so, top 10?, I think so. It is an interesting fight, Fortuna's opposition has been better overall, but I don't think it's fair to say Bogere has never fought a world level opponent, Abril was good, he did lose that fight, but Fortuna has lost his big fights as well.
