I think Dadashev could use a little more experience before he gets a title shot, his movement and combination punching were impressive but his aggressive style invites him to be hit and DeMarco hurt him towards the end of round 7. He definitely has the potential to win a title in my opinion if he can keep improving.

I thought for sure Dada would stop DeMarco, guess Antonio has toughened up like leather over the years.

I personally didn't think he would be stopped because even though Dadashev hits hard, it has taken him a while to get guys out of there. Where Tony DeMarco has only been stopped by Valero and Broner, the other losses he still made the distance.

The Broner stoppage is why I thought Dadashev would do it. That was years ago and I figured 2 things from it. 1. Dada hits at least on par with Broner maybe a little less but he's much more active so the power deficit (if any) would even out on activity. & 2. Like I said that fight was years ago and I thought DeMarco was already in his mid-twenties at the time it happened, so he would have been more than weathered by now to fall under Maxim's pressure.

I see where you are coming from but Broner was a legit pound for pound level fighter after he tuned up DeMarco, Dadashev is still a prospect. Granted, DeMarco was in his prime when Broner fought him and now he's definitely over the hill. Also, Broner gets a bad rap for how he is inactive now, including from me, but he was very active versus DeMarco once he figured him out and Broner had really good power at Lightweight and below. DeMarco definitely has miles on him now, it is just a matter of time before he really starts to decline and it could have been versus Dadashev but it didn't turn out that way.
