Prediction,

Good match up. I like this fight, it is a very interesting one.

Both these guys are past their primes, neither really have anything to lose I don't think, but I don't think either are shot, and both can still do well at a certain high level.

Alexander is probably the favourite, he is coming off a draw, and a draw many people thought he was unlucky to get, I personally thought he won it, but Berto is coming off a stoppage loss. Victor Ortiz is no Shawn Porter, so it doesn't say much that Berto got stopped by Porter and Alexander didn't lose to Ortiz, but still it is Berto taking more damage, and in terms of momentum, mentality maybe, who is on better form, you would have to say Alexander.

Alexander, historically, is better than Berto. Berto has some good wins, he beat Urango, Quintana, Collazo, Josesito Lopez, and he was a world champion, defended his WBC 147lb title 5 times, but Alexander is a 2 time world champion, he beat Matthysse, Maidana, Kotelnik.

Both these guys have suffered losses, but Berto has suffered the more damaging losses, he's been stopped twice, he was beaten up, really put through it against Soto Karass, stopped by Porter, and he took a beating against Guerrero, he took some damage against Mayweather and Ortiz too, especially against Ortiz. Berto has more miles, and he is 4 years older. Alexander did take damage against Kotelnik, Matthysse, and Porter, he is 31, not old, but he isn't a fresh fighter himself, he has never been stopped, only dropped once, he is durable, but he has had setbacks, he has 4 losses, one of them was a against a guy who isn't really better than he is, he had the painkiller addiction, had a layoff.

Berto, over the last 3 years, has been as active, and seemed on better form in 2015 and 16, stopped Ortiz, lost a landlside to Mayweather, but didn't really do worse than Canelo, Mosley, Marquez, whilst Alexander lost to Aaron Martinez, and then had a 2 year layoff. It has been a different story in 2017 and 18, the only fight Porter has had in 2017 was the Porter fight, Alexander fought late in 2017, a solid 10 round win over Walter Castillo in his return fight, and he went the full 12 against Ortiz, so not only has Alexander fought twice since Berto's last fight, he has gone 10 and then 12 rounds since Berto's last fight, he has done 22 rounds in the time it has taken Berto not to fight at all, Alexander's fight was 6 months ago, Berto's last fight was 15 months ago. Activity is on Alexander's side.

I did think Berto boxed well against Porter, he countered him with some good shots, was well prepared for Porter's style and fast, rugged attacking, but while he boxed well, he was clearly not winning the fight, it was close for 7 rounds in my opinion, but he wasn't landing more shots, wasn't hurting Porter, and most importantly, in round 2, Porter, an athlete who can do damage and land with every bit of power he can generate, but not a puncher, dropped Berto when he got some purchase on his right hand, Berto's punch resistance was clearly not up to it, and in rounds 8 and obviously 9, Porter really beat him up, stopped him quite clinically.

In many ways, Berto is better than Alexander, but definitely not in all aspects, he is quite adaptable, Berto, he was losing to Ortiz, losing to Lopez, but he pulled it out, stopped both, he is awkward, he has fast hands, he has some skill, but he doesn't have a good chin, he tires, and he has never had great overall skill at world level. Alexander is not a better fundamental boxer or a better counter puncher, but he is lighter on his feet, faster, has better reflexes, better work ethic. Berto and Alexander are different, but similarly contested, but I think Alexander is the more solid, consistent fighter in the ring, but I still think prime vs prime, Berto is slightly better.

I think Alexander will win this, I think it will be competitive, but I think there will be a clear winner, and I think it will be Alexander, and he'll win a UD.

What's wrong with the site its not letting me share my scorecard could you please fix that asap Thanks.

Brilliant fight!
Both fought themselves ragged, threw every shot they could force out of themselves in that last round, after a competitive fight. I thought Alexander was boxing very well in the early rounds, in rounds 2-4, he looked like he was running away with it, but Berto really came on, Alexander faded, you might have expected it to have been the other way around, because Berto is a few years older, has been inactive, but Alexander after 6 rouds, was the one struggled for pace, he had enough the tank to still be more than in the fight, put up a good effort, but Berto was the one who came on stronger later on. I thought Alexander might have just edged this, but it was a close fight, not hard to understand Berto winning it.

I don't know where Alexander goes now, Berto might get a world title shot, this is a brilliant victory for him, I wouldn't mind seeing Thurman vs Berto next, if Thurman is even returning, but he should get an opportunity, if not against Thurman, then maybe Crawford. Alexander might retire, but he might keep going, this was a close fight, he might bot give up on getting a world title opportunity, and if he continues, I think Alexander vs Ortiz II, would be a good fight.

Alexander and Berto, I think are both very unlikely to win world titles again, but it would be good to see them get one last payday, get the opportunity to give it their best shot, fight the best. I think definitely the best shot Berto or Alexander have of being world champion again would be winning a fight for the WBA (if Thurman has it taken, or vacates it) title, against an opponent who is beatable, they can beat fighters who are not bums at any level, but if they win a world title, it would probably have to be against opposition that is limited relative to world level.

Champ I added a fight, but the pic I added kept changing to Acelino Freitas vs Barry Jones poster even though it's Azumah Nelson vs Jesse James Leija 3, what did I do wrong? Also, the fight only shows up in Leija's fight library, it doesn't show up in Nelson's, what did I do wrong there do you think?

Firstly, I don't know, I simply don't know, I know the issue, I've had the same probelm, also with Porter vs Malignaggi, all I can tell you is to find another picture.

Ok, well there are two possibilities, one, the site hasn't processed it yet, or more likely, if it shows up in one but not the other, that might be because there are two libraries for the same fighter, could be a spelling error, could be that you accidentally left a space next to the same when you were typing, so my advice is go back to it, nd when you edit it, make sure it is spelled the same, and no spaces expect the obvious one between first and last names, if you do that, then hit the link which is just the name of the fighter, and see where that takes you, if it takes you to the library but the fighter isn't losted once you're there, then I don't know, you just have to wait,
