Best performance of Usyk's career, he is the greatest Cruiserweight of all time for my money. Usyk's movement, speed and stamina were sublime, this was a complete masterclass.

100% agree, beat Glowacki, beat Huck, beat Briedis, and now, he has just schooled a two belt champion 12-0, 11-1 being harsh, Giant Lomachencko!

I think there is a case he is better and has a better resume than Lomachenko. It is extremely difficult to move and punch like that at over 200 lbs in the ring. Muhammad Ali is the only boxer I've seen at Cruiserweight or above that had better movement and speed.

I can see that for sure, and agree, his movement for his size is insane.

Lomachenko is the better offensive boxer, especially when we consider body work, but Usyk's movement might be even more slick than Loma's for his size.

How fitting that these guy wins the inaugural Ali trophy? He was even born on the same day.

You guys think he makes the move to HW? I think if he adds 10-15lbs, and could keep up most of that movement/output, he could give guys fits, and make a lot more money for himself. Either way, he was superb and should have elevated himself significantly in terms of drawing power.

Gold's picture

Probably unless he fights Tony Bellew for the money next. He likely walks around at 220lbs and is 6'3 so he isn't a bad size already. His movement, hand speed, and stamina is miles above anything at Heavyweight.

He dominated Joe Joyce in the wsb. I think he has a chance to do it, though he'd be the underdog given the power discrepancy.
