Prediction,

Good rematch.
Carroll and Geraghty fought back in 2014, when they were 2-0, and 6-0, it was a 4 round fight. Carroll won the first fight, but only by disqualification, Geraghty was ahead on the referee's card, 30-28, that was before the referee threw Geraghty out for use of the elbow.

Since their first fight, Carroll and Geraghty have both done very well, Carrol is still unbeaten, Geraghty, losing only to James Tennyson. Carroll and Geraghty have both beaten John Quigley, Geraghty, by 3 points on a referee's scorecard, Carroll, by SD, but two judges scoring it 4 points his way. Quigley is good, was unbeaten until he came across Geraghty and Carroll, so for them to both have a win over him, that's a good victory for both of them.

It does seem as if Carroll has improved more than Geraghty since their fight, but when you look at their records, it isn't that simple, and actually, they have both done very well, fought at a similar sort of level, a lot of poor opponents, but each have fought a couple of goos opponents, beaten them, Carroll's last couple of fights have been Inter-Continental title fights, but not against opponents who are a level above Geraghty's opponents, not at all.

I think this will be a draw, I almost lean towards Carroll, but Geraghty has been more active recently, inactivity might be a minor issue for Carroll in this fight.

My prediction is a draw.
