Sugar Ray Robinson vs Marty Servo
Servo was the aggressor and made it an exciting fight all the way. The taller Robinson was the prohibitive favorite and handed out a lot of punishment, but Servo took it all in stride and did a lot of damage himself, especially at close quarters. Sugar Ray's biggest rounds were the eighth and tenth. There were no knockdowns.
Attendance was 11,000 and the gate was $16,110. http://www.phillyboxinghistory.com/fightlogs/1941_fights.htm
