“What else do you want? I am giving you a dead fighter. He’s going to lose anyway, so accept the fight.”
-Luis Espada, manager of Hilario Zapata

Zapata always had consistency issues and was a druggie at various points of his career; this fight was certainly not one of his best ones, he had weight issues and was overweight at the scales.

“In good condition, I knew I’d win easily the second time. I can’t measure the Korean fighter because of his record or being a Hall-of-Famer because he was fighting at home every time. It’s not like me; I went to Korea, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, United States, Colombia, Venezuela.”
-Hilario Zapata

So unsurprisingly the vicious Chang scored an easy revenge and began his long reign at Light Flyweight. Like a whirlwind, Chang spun around Zapata and rained a torrent of leather onto the Panamanian's body, with some of them being blatantly low but the hometown fighter got away with it and earned a quick stoppage in round 3.
