I think Broner was disappointing in this fight, he won, granted, but it was very close, but I think Quintero deserved the decision, Broner started so well, wasn't a bad finish either, but Quintero out worked and really frustrated Broner for much of that fight, wouldn't criticise the judges had Broner not gotten the verdict here.

Agreed. Broner always seems hesitant to throw. He does well when he does. It could be due to the fact that he thinks he may be a better defensive fighter than he really is. I find he tries to emulate Floyd when he should find his own style. Broner struggles with pressure fighters, and needs work fighting in the pocket. It's a shame though because I actually like Broner, and think he's hilarious outside of the ring, but boring inside of the ring.

Yeah I see that, I think he paid the price for taking his superiority for granted earlier in his career when he fought Maidana.

I think Broner struggles with angles, he can deal with speed, he can deal with variety, but like you said, pressure fighters, and fighters who move.

I think the Porter fight was fun to watch, and who has seen Broner vs Maidana? And didn't love it!? I think it's more that he's lacklustre when he wins, haha, sorry if that sounds harsh. Given that he has only ever lost twice, what you said checks out, most of the time,

This is at least 1 of 3 different "wins" you could very easily consider a gift for Broner. He should probably have anywhere from 5 to 7 loses on his record if we're being honest.

I think it is fair to say he could have 6, and he has at least 3. I think there could have been no complaints about about him losing had he lost by a couple of points to De Leon, Quintero, Granados, but I think he beat them all, close though.
