Awesome fight!

What a performance from Randy Cabalerro!
What a great effort from Stuart Hall! And a great performance from him as well!

I predicted this to happen, I think it was slightly closer than I predicted though. I thought Hall's stamina in this fight, was just phenomenal, volume punching like that, round after round, to sustain such a pace, such a tempo, fantastic. Cabalerro proved he doesn't fold when he is pushed, dragged into deep waters by a tough guy, he stood there with Hall, and late on, where he'd never been before, he managed to land with more accuracy, little subtle movements through the fight, great skills to maybe evade Hall's shots, but often, reduce the quality of his punches, that last round was fantastic from Cabalerro! I thought the knockdown was from a very well timed shot, it was set up very well, and then it just caught Hall maybe off balance, hurt him to a degree, I think. This really was an awesome fight, both guys pushing themselves and each other to the limit, standing there, firing combinations with great variety, out hustling each other, both attacking the body, both landing with vicious uppercuts. I think Hall may have trained slightly harder for this fight than Cabalerro, but Cabalerro had trained very hard himself, and his age helped him.

I think Cabalerro decisively won this fight, Hall won rounds, looked great in doing it, did good work in every round, really impressed me with his fantastic performance, but Cabalerro's edge in talent, skills, clean punching was the difference, sealed the deal, Hall might have won had been a big puncher, but he isn't really. Hall may have lost this fight, but he lost by 5 points maximum! 118-110, disgusting!
