Good performance from Shakur Stevenson, 3-0 now, so far so good!
I think Stevenson has a great future, I hope that a rivalry between himself and Michael Conlan begins, they both keep winning, and the fight happens, maybe when they have both had more than 10 fights, but before they challange for a world title. Shakur does have a lot to learn, at his age (well, haha, I'm the same age, so if he has to grow up then so do I :)), he doesn't want to try to rush into big fights, get over ambitious, because as good as this performance was, he did lose his way a few times through maybe just getting very slightly mentally lazy and moving more with adrenaline and instinctive fitness, rather than methodically, and moving at the right times, but he wasn't challenged, it wasn't that Paz wasn't trying, but the difference in speed, especially foot speed, was massive, and Paz could only load up and swing lottery ticket punches. I think Stevenson could do with a fight against a tougher opponent next, and actually fight a few easier opponents after that, some fighters do benefit from a tough, risky fight early on in their career.

Stevenson needs to relax more in the ring, and work on sitting down on his punches better. Decent showing tonight but could have been better.

He's still a rough diamond. Hopefully he will turn out well as his career progresses
