rorschach's picture

That might have been the worst ref I have ever seen, total bias.

rorschach's picture

Reid clearly won the fight.

Gold's picture

Ottke is the absolute worst champion I have ever seen, he robbed more boxers than anyone I know of. German boxing, in general, was a total joke at this point. If a non-German fought in Germany versus a German champion, they were getting robbed regardless of how well they did. The judges were terrible in this fight but the referee was even worse. Reid was fighting two people in the ring with the way the referee would call any complaint Ottke made.

Felix Sturm has certainly been nicely treated by the officials, don't see any way to justify him beat Matthew Macklin, or Fedor Chudinov.

Gold's picture

Yeah, Sturm versus Macklin and Chudinov is a good example, I especially feel bad for Macklin considering he never won a legitimate world title when he should have gotten the decision versus Sturm. In my view, Sturm was a lot more skilled than Ottke and Sturm got robbed himself versus De La Hoya so he isn't as bad in my book. Michalczewski milking the DQ versus Rocchigiani is another good example of biased officiating in Germany.

I think Andre Dirrell was guilty of that twice.

Could you please add Michael Dokes vs Randell Tex Cobb 1 they had two fights you got the second one 03-15-1985 could you please add the first fight 03-22-1981 its anniversary is coming up soon Thanks.
