Prediction,

I think Ryan Garcia is one of the most talented prospects in the world, he's 19, already 14-0, so wasting no time. This is a great step up for Garcia, I think Velez is better than anyone Garcia has fought before, but not too much of a leap up for a kid who is still obviously learning. Garcia is talented, and he clearly has determination, could be a future top level fighter, but at the moment, the problem could be rushing him, he is very young, and for their to be any talks of him fighting an opponent like Gervonta Davis, a fighter as dangerous as that, who is young himself, but much more experienced, at this stage, that's a dangerous, dangerous fight, could really damage him as a fighter, you cannot expect Garcia not to talk about the fight himself, but his handlers should keep him away from fights like that until he is more experienced. Garcia is massive for 130, he'll probably move up in weight very soon, I can see him winning a world title at 135 or 140 in 2 or 3 years.

Velez does not lose to fighters who aren't good, he has had his bad days at the office, has 4 losses, but he has never been stopped, he should be able to push Garcia a bit, give him rounds. Velez might be very confident of victory himself here, experience can be key, he shoukd make it a decent fight.

Garcia will be out to make a statement here, be the first to stop Velez, he is a massive puncher, 13 stoppages, 11 inside 2 rounds, I can see him stopping Velez, it depends on Velez, but I think Garcia might stop him, maybs in 6 rounds. Garcia is bound to make the odd mistake here and there, if Velez is able to hit him, punish him for slipping up, any flaws or anything, this could be a very good learning fight for Garcia.
