Prediction,

Brant did great last time out, had an extremely high output, wanted the win more than his opponent, got a landslide UD over favourite, Ryota Murata. Brant has one loss, that was up at 168, against veteran, Juergen Braehmer, it was a one sided loss, which seemed to prove Brant is probably not world level, the weight might have been a factor, I have always thought Braehmer was underrated, Brant probably learned a lot from that fight, and he was much better against Murata. I think Murata was poor, could have done better against Brant, I don't think Brant is a good fighter at world level, but steady, not poor, and he can make any fight at least fairly competitive.

Baysangurov is 17-0, good record, he is only 21, this is a big step up for him, but he has fought at Inter-Continental level, has been 12 rounds in his last 2 fights, lost no more than 4 rounds. Baysangurov has 41% KOs, so he isn't a puncher. Baysangurov has stepped up his opposition on his last 2 fights, won wide both times, he beat Paul Valenzuela, who has been in agaisnt Munguia, Harrison, he also beat Guido Pitto, who beat Jack Culcay, so although experience isn't on his side, Baysangurov is not too inexperienced.

I think Brant will win this, I think Baysangurov is stepping up a level, Brant is in his prime, and he will win quite comfortably, he will out work his opponent, have more to his game, and win a UD, maybe 116-112.

KB has good range and defense but the hand speed and power just aren't there to make him competitive at this level. RB's game is far from complete and I'm skeptical that he'll make a dent among the top 10 at MW but the Murata win shows how effective he can be when he has a real gameplan. If can he patiently work his way past the long jab, he should be able to score at will, stay comfortably ahead on the cards, and play a smart defensive game in the later rounds. A boring UD for Brant 118-110.
