In a rematch of one of the most shocking fights in boxing history, Riddick Bowe and Andrew Golota deliver an absolute classic that is again marred in controversy. This time, however, the action is confined to the ring. Golota sends Bowe spiraling to the canvas in round two but loses a point for an intentional headbutt. Bowe answers with a knockdown of his own in round four before Golota is docked a point for low blows. Regaining his composure, Golota fells Bowe once more in round five and appears on his way to a convincing win before he once again gets himself disqualified for excessive low blows in round nine. Neither fighter is ever the same.
