Champion97's picture

David Price was ahead at the time on the scorecards.

Tony Thompson wanted it more.

David Price has size but he fights like a mental midget.

Small details of fighting like a Big Man Price could not maintain round after round he never was able to learn how to use his size in self defense properly.

I Dubbed this one "Priceless"

I was gutted for Price when he lost this, he lost to a cheat, but I think really, as well as being hard done by in that sense, he was also not defending himself, he was exhausted, his lack of survival skills let him down, and he took a bit of a beating, it wasn't a premature stoppage. Price had Thompson hurt in round 2, and in round 3, he looked dominant, he just seemed to fade after that point, and Thompson came back, recuperated, rallied, and he was able to really punish his opponent and get the stoppage, but he doesn't deserve any credit.
