Prediction,

Barthelemy's last performance was a stinker, most fighting ambition he showed was hitting his opponent low at the end of the fight, embarrassed with himself, after losing most or even every round to a fighter he knew he was better than.

It seems that Barthelemy take boxing more seriously, wants to keep fighting, which is good to see, he is 32, quite old, but he might still be just about young enough to get himself in the mix amongst the best in the division if he has the desire, and he has done himself a favour by not leaving it too late, coming back less than a year after the Relikh loss. First thing is first, Barthelemy has to win this fight.

I think this is an easy comeback fight for Barthelemy, he isn't coming off a layoff, it wasn't a seriously damaging loss against Relikh or anything, just a pathetic performance, and his opponent has a record of 36-19. Robert Frankel is 38, has 14% KOs, he is not a bum, he won a USA title in 2008, he has only been stopped 5 times, he has a good chin, has fought for North American Titles since he his title win, but he has not won a title since then, he has lost the majority of his last 10 fights.

Jose Carlos Ramirez stopped Frankel in 5, I don't expect Barthelemy to match that, but Mike Reed, Anton Novikov, Jose Zepeda, all won shutouts, I think Barthelemy can match that, he has the potential to be better than any of those fighters in my opinion.

I think Barthelemy wins a solid 100-90 shutout, lacklustre, but a solid performance, a good comeback win.
