Prediction,

I think Quillin knocks Angulo out, Angulo is 37, has a lot of miles, been down at least twice, which is not many times, but has still been in very damaging fights against Kirkland, Canelo, Lara, De La Rosa, especially Kirkland and Canelo, and he is probably a natural light middleweight, Quillin is probably a natural super middleweight, 6'1, seemed very weight drained against Lee, all his fights have been at middleweight or super middleweight, so Quillin can hit Angulo with more power than any of Angulo's previous opponents. Angulo is tough, can fight, has power himself, but at 168, against a much naturally bigger fighter, he won't hit as hard, and not only is his resistance dented by all the miles he has, but he won't soak up the power of a puncher at this weight like he was able to at 154 and 160.

I think this will be a competitive fight, but it will be over early, I would be shocked if this went to the late rounds. I think Angulo will try his best to push Quillin back, be relentless, out work Quillin, but Quillin will punish him on his way in, and he won't hold up, his resistance will let him down. I think this will be a good scrap, but only briefly, because a fighter like Angulo, who relies on his offensive ability and toughness, and is not a good defensive fighter or a fighter with good survival skills, when he goes down and gets hurt, all he can do is get up and keep fighting, it's all he knows, but in this fight, he will just get put down again, keep getting hurt, and the referee will have to stop it.

I think Quillin stops Angulo in 4, wouldn't be surprised if it went to the mid rounds, but this shouldn't go 12, or even late.

Can you add Adlan Abdurashidov Vs Paulus Moses? They fought this weekend...

Looks like Abel has done some good work on Angulo

The judges got it right!

This shouldn't have been a split decision in my opinion, maybe you could make an argument for a draw, but not for Quillin winning the fight, I thought it was poor scoring from Villegas, Angulo clearly won rounds 8 and 9, and those punch stats were well off the mark.

Angulo did what a lot of fighters have tried but have failed to do, and that is move up 2 weights, against an opponent who is supposed to be better than you, weight aside, and still get the win, it wasn't as much of a big ask as it was for Rigondeaux, Khan, Brook, Mikey, because Quillin has never been on the level of Lomachenko, Canelo, Golovkin, Spence, he is well past his best, probably shot, and they were all more or less in their primes, but you might have expected more from all the previous challengers than from Angulo.

I think Quillin made a big mistake in round 3, he was boxing very well for 2 rounds, using his movement, using his jab, out boxing Angulo, but in round 3, rather than trying to stop Angulo fighting his fight, he stood there and fought Angulo's fight, took a lot of punishment, and he could never get back into the rhythm he was in for the first 2 rounds, his legs weren't there in the late rounds, couldn't use the ring, and he was trying to move, force out punches, but Angulo was stalking him, Quillin couldn't hurt him even though he had a size advantage, and when Angulo let his hands go, he always did damage.
