Prediction,

I expected Butler to retire, it was a bad loss against Rodriguez, but he should have a bit left in the tank, still only two losses, both against fighters who have just advanced to the World Boxing Super Series semi-finals, he's 29, and he is coming back 6 months after the Rodriguez fight, perfect timing, not too soon, not coming off a layoff.

Yoan Boyeaux is very experienced, 47 fights, been a professional for 9 years, he's not that old either, 30, but he is coming off a 3 round stoppage loss to Inoue, that was 10 months ago, so he probably isn't at his best, Boyeaux. Boyeaux has been in against Inoue, Frampton, so the pressure of fighting an opponent of Butler's calibre, isn't new to him.

Boyeaux's opposition, from 2015-2017, was poor, had 5 6 round fights in a row, I don't think he fought any opponents who are half-decent from 2013 all the way up until his last fight, so I don't think the quality of experience is great, and when a fighter is used to fighting that level of opposition for so long, it must be a challenge when they fight at a higher level. I don't think this is a tough fight for Butler, Butler is no Inoue, so I don't see him stopping Boyeaux early, making a statement like that, I think this will go the distance, I wouldn't be surprised if Butler stopped Boyeaux late, but I think Butler wins a UD, probably a shutout or 99-91.
