rd 1 competitive Perez really caught Salido with some counters coming in but Salido out works him throughout landing crushing body shots
rd 3 Perez knocks Salido down but in a rd were Salido dominated until walking into a uppercut Perez's success until then were mainly body shots just enough to keep Salido off from completely unloading on him and tho Salido appeared to be hurt bad from the KD but Perez was unable to build on that landing only a couple shots with Salido answering back with a couple shots and Salido shots STILL doing more damage and Salido forced Perez back on the ropes and stayed doing more damage until the bell wit enough crushing blows so i forced to score it 10-9 instad of 10-8

rds 5 Salido beat him upa and battered Perez around but in rds 4,6,7 the damage done had me considering 10-8 rds without a KD and i felt i was forced to score 7 so

ok it may look super baised on paper 2 THINGS...#1 scoring a rd for fighter B only 10-9 when he knocked fighter A down and in the same fight #2 scoring a 10-8 for fighter A for domination without dropping fighter B and a fighter staying on his feet should be given every benefit off the rd i agree and both cases rare for me but....

in my defense i would like to ask everybody to think of rds you either scored 10-8 or thought about it and at worst rds 4,6,7 are not far off tho Perez wasnt super wobbled in one single instance the cumulative damage by Perez in these rds came close to crossing my threshold for a single rd and did so in rd 7 in rds 4,6 Perez fought back just enough in the closing stages to keep it a from being anything from a wide 10-9 and in rd 7 was doing so as well and in the final exchanges was doing even better in the final moments rd 7 actually than in rds 4 or 5 catching Salido with rights and almost pushing him Salido back with a left but all that should be respective of what your opponent is doing to you in THAT RD right? and in this context i felt the damage was already done by Salido with very little coming back from Perez in 3 different exchanges on the ropes on 3 sides of the ring really placing his power shots with real leverage and lifting Perez's head with uppercuts and turning it on impact from left hooks and in most of these exchanges in the rare instances Perez would land clean the impact was next to nothing especially the shots to Salido's head and in the final exchange while Perez was having success Salido was still landing clean to to stay with Perez if not bettering his work with clean blows and not allowing Perez to cut into Salido's lead as aforementioned with " damage already done" and while i was still looking for a reason to score rd 7 a wide 10-9 instead and not 10-8 and probably looking to give Perez any credit for finally showing real life in the rd i felt at real time Salido i believe landed another 1-2 at the death which seemed to hurt Perez all over again thus forcing my hand...10-8

ok while i may watch this again and hate myself for maybe getting it wrong these seemed the right options at the time
