No Easy Way Out: Lucian Bute vs. Carl Froch
Fight Notes: In a shocking result, Carl Froch batters the undefeated Bute from pillar to post until a massive flurry along the ropes in round 5 forces Bute's corner to step in to stop the vicious beatdown. In winning the IBF belt at 168 that Bute had long held, Froch becomes a 3-time champion in the division, and may now join the short list of Britain's greatest boxers. |

Froch proved he belongs to be mentioned among the very best fighters in the world--sure, he will never beat Andre Ward, but Ward may be P4P Top 5 material very soon.

This is where Froch really started to make his own place in British boxing history, avenging his bad decision loss to Kessler and Ko'ing up and coming Groves twice while being behind in the fight both times, is what made him imo, one of the greatest Super Middleweights of all time!
