Valuev comes to America...

and actually has one of the better showings Ive seen from him.

Barrett had maybe the worst gameplan you can have when fighting a giant - to trade. He did not fight tactically whatsoever and was clobbered throughout the fight. Valeuv actually displayed some impressive combinations and speed to get the TKO - the big man also had insane stamina which I have to give him credit for. Hard to believe just 2 years later he was a shell of himself against Holyfield.

I wonder how'd Valuev do in today's era of heavys, likely much worse. Would love to see Wilder knock out the big oaf. He was barely ever hurt, maybe a Klitschko could've took him out.

Overall he seems like a classy, professional guy that did pretty well with his size but really wasn't that great of a boxer. One of the weakest champions in the heavyweight lineage.
