Mike Tyson vs Steve Zouski
Tyson pressure Zouski and picked his shots to the body and occasionally to the head in the opening round. Zouski moved around and had some success with his jab and infrequent right hands. Zouski continued to work in round 2 and landed with a nice combination near the two-minute mark of the round. Tyson replied with a fast combination of his own and had created some swelling to Zouski's left eye by the end of the round. Tyson's work rate was lower early in Round 3 as Zouski looked to keep his distance and work on the outside. A series of uppercuts hurt Zouski at 2:00 of the round and sent him stumbling into the ropes. Tyson landed a right uppercut that snapped back Zouski's head and a massive left hook that sent Zouski down face first. Zouski made it to his feet after the referee had reached the count of ten.
Mike Tyson 18-0 (18 KOs) vs. Steve Zouski 25-9 (14 KOs)
He was a game opponent and I have to give him a lot of credit for standing in and taking some good punches. I didn't like my performance. I have a lot of personal problems that I am just getting over, but I'm going to do all to my best ability to be ready for the twenty-ninth against James Tillis." Mike Tyson in the post-fight interview.
