Prediction,

I think Conlan wins this in one round.

Champion97's picture

Good, solid performance from Michael Conlan.
It was good for Conlan to get the rounds, be busy, lack of power?, no, he fought a very defensive opponent who moved well, the other guy didn't want to engage. When a fighter, even at 6-0, needs rounds, you know he is a puncher, and that is why he needs to experience boxing behond 4 rounds.

You can't really take anything from this fight, because the opponent was so negative, but it was just a case of Conlan staying active, and doing 8 rounds well, staying strong enough to unanimously win every single round, which is always impressive. He is still learning, but I think Conlan is brilliant, and will be a world champion in 2 years or so, the Shakur Stevenson fight would be brillaint, the fight probably won't happen for a while, but they are both very good fighters, solid prospects, it would be good for boxing if they build a rivalry, not trash talk or any crap like that, just both dominating decent opponents, working towards having the perfect game plan to beat each other.
