"I'm feeling great now."
-Wilfred Benitez, post-fight interview.

Wilfred Benitez became the sixth three-divison world champion and the first Latin American to do so. Winning the belt with a beautifully set up overhand right which put Hope hopelessly out cold on the canvas.

For a master boxer like Benitez, he sure engaged a slug-fest in this fight. Despite my lopsided score, Hope remained dangerous and competitive throughout the fight, Benitez simply managed to edge out slightly in each round. It was only after Benitez's sustained and calculated body attack did Hope began to tire, leading to that knockout overhand.
