Prediction,

This is a great card, seems to have just appeared out of the blue.

Ito did great in his last fight, won the WBO title against Christopher Diaz. The Diaz fight was great, Ito had the more skills, and the more volume, and he had the beating of a heavier handed Diaz, was in deep waters at time, it was a gruelling fight, but he won, and won wide.

Chuprakov is 20-0, he's 28, he's been 12 rounds twice, 10 rounds recently, he has been at European and Inter-Continental level, this fight could not be coming at a better time for him, he is unknown, Chuprakov, untested at world level, but this is a great opportunity for him. Chuprakov has 50% KOs, he's not a puncher, but he does have some power, stopped durable Eden Sonsona, stopped unbeaten Sebastian Tlatlik as well. Chuprakov has been a professional for 7 years, won the WBO European title in 2015, defended twice, won the WBO Inter-Continental title, defended twice. Chuprakov has never been dropped as far as I can see on BoxRec, which suggests he has a good chin.

It is hard to have an opinion on Ito as a champion, because he was an underdog against Diaz, it is still a question, how much of that scenario was about Ito being good and how much of it might have been about Diaz being overhyped, but you want to give Ito the benefit of the doubt.

It is very hard to predict the outcome of this fight, because both are unproven at least to some extent. I think I'll lean towards Ito, I've seen him in a world title fight, based on the Diaz fight, Ito is a good world level fighter, and more than good enough to defend his title a few times, Chuprakov has a couple of wins over unbeaten fighters, but not at world level, and he is the less tested, less proven fighter, never been in a fight like this before, whereas Ito, he's done it before now, been there against Diaz, this might come down to that extra little bit of experience.

I think Ito by MD.
