Fight Notes: 

WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck takes on British challenger Ola Afolabi in his home country. In a highly competitive fight with a lot of back and fourth action, Huck manages to keep his belt by out pointing his opponent, two of the judges scored it a close fight. The crowd, viewers at home, and the two boxers themself were keen for a rematch, and it is a good thing they got one sorted out.

Really good fight, competitive throughout, there was a clear winner and that was Huck, but what a great effort from Afolabi, I think he deserved the rematch.

Good Euro stand-up style brawl. If either guy ever came in behind a jab they'd be dangerous.

This was my scorecard when I saw the fight a few years ago. I’m surprised the other five scorecards here have Huck winning. I remember thinking Afolabi won close but clearly. It was certainly viewed as a controversial decision at the time, which is why they ended up rematching down the line. I had Afolabi winning the second fight too, though Huck won the third & fourth fights comfortably iirc.
